In the 2009 Indian general election for Gujarat were held for 26 seats in the state. The major two contenders in the state were Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and the Indian National Congress (INC). Gujarat
Gujarat (, ) is a state along the western coast of India. Its coastline of about is the longest in the country, most of which lies on the Kathiawar peninsula. Harin Pathak (born 20 July 1947) is an Indian politician who was a member of the fourteenth Lok Sabha of India. He represented the Ahmedabad East constituency of Gujarat and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Phatak was denied a ticket to contest the 2014 Loksabha Elections by BJP. He was replaced by Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal. Pathak was Minister of State for Defence Production in Atal Bihari Vajpayee's third cabinate from October 1999 to November 2000. Vitthalbhai Hansrajbhai Radadiya (8 November 1958 – 29 July 2019) was an Indian politician who was a member of the 15th Lok Sabha of India.
