Indian Super League Golden Glove
The Indian Super League Golden Glove is an annual association football award presented to the goalkeeper who has kept the most clean sheets in the Indian Super League. The Indian Super League was founded in 2013, eight teams competed in the 2014 inaugural season. It became the joint top-tier of Indian football league system by 2017–18 season and is the top-tier since 2022–23 season. Inaugural Indian Super League Golden Glove was awarded to Jan Šeda of Goa in 2014. While Gurpreet Singh Sandhu won the golden glove the most, Amrinder Singh was the first Indian player to win the award with Mumbai City in 2016, and Prabhsukhan Singh Gill was the youngest to win the award at 21 years and 3 months with Kerala Blasters. Gurpreet Singh Sandhu (born 3 February 1992) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Indian Super League club Bengaluru and the India national team. Sandhu was named captain of the India national team for the first time in friendly match against Puerto Rico on 3 September 2016, a match India won 4–1. Arindam Bhattacharya (footballer)
Arindam Bhattacharya (born 11 December 1989), is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for NorthEast United in the Indian Super League. Club career Bhattacharya played football for Surya Sen Sporting Club in Khardah, he then joined SAI senior team in 2006 where he stayed for 2 years before joining Churchill Brothers. Bhattacharya joined the Tata Football Academy and was selected for the India under-19 after his performance in the Subroto Cup. 2020–21 Indian Super League Season
The 2020–21 Indian Super League season was the seventh season of the Indian Super League (ISL) since its formation and the 25th season of the top division of the Indian football league system. The season started on 20 November 2020 and ended on 13 March 2021. It was hosted behind closed doors across three venues in Goa due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. Mumbai City won the championship, having defeated ATK Mohun Bagan in the final, and also won the League Winners Shield for league premiers. 2019–20 Indian Super League Season
The 2019–20 Indian Super League season was the sixth season of the Indian Super League, one of the top Indian professional football leagues. The regular season began on 20 October 2019 and concluded on 14 March 2020. Hyderabad replaced the disbanded Pune City, whereas Delhi Dynamos moved to Bhubaneswar and rebranded as Odisha. Bengaluru were the defending champions, having won their maiden Indian Super League title by defeating Goa 1–0 in the 2018–19 final. However, both teams were knocked out in the semi-finals, with Bengaluru losing 3–2 on aggregate to ATK and Goa losing 6–5 on aggregate to Chennaiyin. On 14 March 2020, ATK beat Chennaiyin 3–1 in the final, becoming the first club to win three ISL titles. 2018–19 Indian Super League Season
The 2018–19 Indian Super League season was the fifth season of the Indian Super League, one of the top Indian professional football leagues. It was established in 2013. The regular season began on 29 September 2018 and concluded on 17 March 2019. The league took a mid-season break for around one month from 17 December 2018 to early January 2019 due to India's participation in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. Chennaiyin were the defending champions, having defeated Bengaluru in the 2018 final, however they did not qualify for the playoffs having finished the last in the regular season. The 2016 Indian Super League season was the third season of the Indian Super League, the football league, since its establishment in 2013. The season featured eight teams again, each playing 14 matches during the regular season before the finals. The regular season began on 1 October and ended on 4 December. The finals began on 10 December and concluded with the final on 18 December. The defending champions coming into the season were Chennaiyin. At the end of the season, Atlético de Kolkata came out as champions after defeating the Kerala Blasters in a penalty shootout, 4–3, during the final.
