Manuka Oval
Manuka Oval is a sporting venue in Canberra, the capital of Australia. It is located in Griffith, in the area of that suburb known as Manuka. Manuka Oval has a seating capacity of 13,550 people and an overall capacity of 16,000 people, although this is lower for some sports depending on the configuration used. The area on which the ground is situated has been used for sport since the early 20th century, but was only enclosed in 1929. It has since undergone several redevelopments, most recently beginning in 2011. Currently, Manuka Oval is primarily used for cricket (during the summer months) and Australian rules football (during the winter months). Roger Binny
Roger Michael Humphrey Binny (born 19 July 1955) is an Indian former international cricketer who is the 36th and incumbent president of Board of Control for Cricket in India. He was the president of Karnataka State Cricket Association from 2019 to 2022. Binny won the 1983 Cricket World Cup and the 1985 World Championship of Cricket, being India's highest wicket taker in both tournaments. He was also the head coach of the Indian U-19 team that won the 2000 Under-19 Cricket World Cup and has served as a national selector. Max O'Connell
Maxwell George O'Connell (born 4 April 1936 in Alberton, South Australia) was an Australian Test cricket match umpire. He umpired 19 Test matches between 1971 and 1980. His first match, was the Fifth Test in the 1970–71 Ashes series at Melbourne on 21 January to 26 January 1971. In his first over as Test umpire he called "over" and turned to walk to square leg after John Snow bowled the last ball. As a result he missed the England wicket-keeper Alan Knott catching Keith Stackpole and had to give him not out. Laxman Sivaramakrishnan
Laxman Sivaramakrishnan (born 31 December 1965), popularly known as "''Siva''" and LS, is a former Indian cricketer and current cricket commentator. During his playing career, he was a right arm leg-spinner. Sivaramakrishnan began his commentary career in a test match between India and Bangladesh on 12 November 2000. Robert Zadow
Robert John Zadow (born 17 January 1954 in Mannum near Adelaide) known as Bob or Rob is a former first-class South Australian cricketer. Career Zadow abandoned a promising Australian rules footballing career by moving to England in 1976 to play as an overseas amateur for Flowery Field Cricket Club in the Saddleworth and District League. He scored over 1000 runs as a right-handed batman despite missing the first six and last six games of the season. In 1977 he returned to Flowery Field Cricket Club as a professional. From 1979/80 he started to play regular first-class cricket for South Australia and was soon chosen to captain the side. In 32 matches (59 innings) he scored 1472 runs at an average of 26.28 including 2 x 100s and 5 x 50s. Samuel David Haslam Parkinson (born 8 August 1960) is a former Australian cricketer. Parkinson was a left-handed batsman who bowled left-arm fast-medium. He was born in Adelaide, South Australia. Parkinson played for Buckinghamshire 1981, making his debut for the English county in the Minor Counties Championship against Oxfordshire. He made 9 further appearances for Buckinghamshire in that season, the last of which came against Hertfordshire. Returning to Australia, Parkinson made his first-class debut for South Australia against New South Wales in the 1981–82 Sheffield Shield. Ashok Omprakash Malhotra (born 26 January 1957) is a former Indian cricketer who played in seven Test matches and 20 One Day Internationals from 1982 to 1986.
