Inder (lake)
Inder ( kk, Индер; russian: Индер) is a salt lake in Inder District, Atyrau Region, Kazakhstan. The mineral Inderite and the plant '' Eremurus inderiensis'' were named after the lake. Geography Inder an endorheic lake in the northern part of the Caspian Lowland. It is located to the east of the Ural river. The southern foothills of the Inder Mountains rise above the northern and northeastern lakeshores. The lake is very shallow. Atyrau Region
Atyrau Region ( kk, Атырау облысы / ; russian: Атырауская область) formerly known as Guryev Region (russian: Гурьевская область) until 1991, is one of the regions of Kazakhstan, in the west of the country around the northeast of the Caspian Sea. Even though its territory spans four geographical time zones (from +3 to +6), standard time in Kazakhstan is either UTC+05:00 or UTC+06:00. GeoNames
GeoNames (or GeoNames.org) is a user editable geographical database available and accessible through various web services, under a Creative Commons attribution license. The project was founded in late 2005. The GeoNames dataset differs from, but includes data from, the US Government's similarly named GEOnet Names Server. Database and web services The GeoNames database contains over 25,000,000 geographical names corresponding to over 11,800,000 unique features. All features are categorized into one of nine feature classes and further subcategorized into one of 645 feature codes.
