Independent Soldiers
The Independent Soldiers, otherwise known as the IS gang, is a predominantly, although not exclusively Punjabi-Canadian organized crime group from British Columbia, Canada that is engaged in organized crime across the Canadian nation and in Canadian prisons. Origins The Independent Soldiers are a gang, that was said to have been formed by a group of Indo-Canadians from South Vancouver and Metro Vancouver municipalities. They had come together during the 1990s under the name "Sunset Boys". The Sunset Boys were a group of mostly Indo-Canadians whose favorite meeting was the Sunset Community Centre and Sunset Park. One of the founding members of the Sunset Boys who later became the leader of the Independent Soldiers was Randy Naicker. United Nations (gang)
The United Nations (UN), is a criminal gang which originating in the Vancouver, British Columbia, area and more recently grew to the rest of the Canadian territory in the 2000s. History Formation The UN gang was formed in Abbotsford in 1997 by a group of high-school friends from around the Fraser Valley. Dixon City Bloods
The Dixon Bloods or the Dixon City Bloods, also known as the Dixon Goonies, is a street gang based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Overview According to Toronto police, the Dixon Bloods had been responsible for weapons trafficking and drug trafficking out of a highrise apartment complex in Toronto's Kingsview Village neighborhood, located on Dixon Road east of Kipling Avenue. Bahala Na Gang
The Bahala Na Gang (BNG) is a street gang founded in the Philippines which subsequently spread to the United States. Early history The Bahala Na Gang was established in the early 1940s in Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines, by Divino Talastas, a native of Bulacan who was born in early 1920s and who later moved with his siblings to Sampaloc. Before the forming of the Bahala Na Gang, Divino had a brother known as "Emong" who at an early age of 13–14 was most feared in the area, known for his fighting skill, and was notorious for targeting and killing police officers. Red Scorpions
The Red Scorpions is a gang based in British Columbia, Canada. It was formed in 2000 by Quang Vinh Thang Le (known as Michael Le), Tejinder Malli, Konaam Shirzad, Matthew Johnston, and one other un-named young offenders. Michael Le testified at the Surrey Six trial that he and Shirzad formed the Red Scorpions after meeting in a youth detention centre facility.
