Incura
INCURA is a Canadian cinematic metal band based in Lethbridge, Alberta. Their musical style is a unique blend of hard rock, prog and metal instrumentals, with high vocals. The band's name is a combination of their previous name, INVEIN, and the Cura spell from the Final Fantasy game series. History Origins, high school and the Lethbridge scene INCURA formed in Lethbridge, Alberta. Original guitar player Gatlin Fitzgerald attended Wilson Jr High School with bass player Jono Olson, and Lethbridge Collegiate Institute with Kyle during their high school years. All three musicians were heavily involved in the local music scene; Gat and Jono played in a band called "Last in Line" while Kyle performed with a band called "Dislexic". After being introduced by mutual friends from the Lethbridge scene, the trio began to jam together on a regular basis. CFOX-FM (identified on air and in print as ''CFOX'') is a Canadian radio station in Vancouver, British Columbia. It broadcasts on an assigned frequency of 99.3 MHz on the FM band with an effective radiated power of 100,000 watts (peak). The transmitter is located on Mount Seymour in the District of North Vancouver, with studios located in Downtown Vancouver, in the TD Tower. The station is owned by Corus Entertainment. CFOX has a modern rock format, as it reports to Mediabase as a Canadian alternative rock station. History CFOX began broadcasting on October 15, 1964 on 99.3 MHz with 100,000 watts, under the call sign CKLG-FM (not to be confused with the new "LG" in Vancouver CHLG-FM on 104.3 MHz.). Lethbridge
Lethbridge ( ) is a city in the province of Alberta, Canada. With a population of 101,482 in its 2019 Alberta municipal censuses, 2019 municipal census, Lethbridge became the fourth Alberta city to surpass 100,000 people. The nearby Canadian Rockies, Canadian Rocky Mountains contribute to the city's warm summers, mild winters, and Chinook wind, windy climate. Lethbridge lies southeast of Calgary on the Oldman River. Sloan (band)
Sloan is a Canadian rock music, rock band based in Toronto and originally from Halifax Regional Municipality, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Sloan have released thirteen full-length albums and have received nine Juno Award nominations, winning one. Between 1996 and 2016, Sloan was among the top 75 best-selling Canadian artists in Canada and among the top 25 best-selling Canadian bands in Canada.
