Incarville (horse)
Incarville (foaled 4 May 2018) is a French Thoroughbred racehorse. She showed some promise as a two-year-old in 2020 when she won the last two of her four starts. In the following year she ran second in the Prix Penelope and the Prix Cleopatre before winning the Group 1 Prix Saint Alary. Background Incarville is a grey filly bred in France by Naji Nahas. She initially raced in the ownership of Gerard Augustin-Normand. The filly was sent into training with David Smaga at Lamorlaye. She was from the sixth crop of foals sired by Wootton Bassett who won the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardère in 2010. Wootton Bassett's other foals have included Almanzor, Audarya and Wooded. Wootton Bassett (horse)
Wootton Bassett (foaled 4 February 2008) is a British-bred Thoroughbred racehorse and sire. He was one of the best two-year-old in Europe in 2010 when he was undefeated in five race including the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardère. He failed to win in 2011 and was retired from racing at the end of the year. He has had considerable success as a sire of winners. Background Wootton Bassett is a bay horse with a small white star bred in England by the Hertfordshire-based Laundry Cottage Stud. In September 2009 he was put up for auction at the Doncaster St Leger Yearling Sale and was bought for 44,000 guineas by Bobby O'Ryan. He entered the ownership of Frank Brady & The Cosmic Cases and was sent into training with Richard Fahey at Malton, North Yorkshire. Longchamp Racecourse
The Longchamp Racecourse (french: Hippodrome de Longchamp) is a 57 hectare horse-racing facility located on the Route des Tribunes at the Bois de Boulogne in Paris, France. Hippodrome Deauville-La Touques is a race track for thoroughbred horse racing located in Deauville in the Calvados département, in the Normandy ''région'' of France. Val Royal (April 7, 1996 – October 17, 2008) was a France, French-bred Thoroughbred Horse racing, racehorse who competed successfully in France and the United States and was best known for winning the 2001 Breeders' Cup Mile. Background Val Royal was bred and raced by Jean-Luc Lagardere. His dam was Vadlava, a daughter of 1981 Prix du Jockey Club, French Derby winner Bikala. Valyra (horse)
Valyra (3 May 2009 – 29 August 2012) was a British– bred, French-trained Thoroughbred racehorse owned by HH Aga Khan IV and trained by Jean-Claude Rouget. She won the 2012 Prix de Diane, but died in an accident later in the year. Breeding Valyra was the daughter of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes winner Azamour. Her dam, Valima, won the Listed Prix Imprudence and is a daughter of Poule d'Essai des Poulains winner Linamix. Racing career Valyra did not race as a two-year-old and made her first racecourse appearance on 14 April 2012 at Bordeaux Le Bouscat Racecourse, when she won by three quarters of a length from Glowing Cloud.
