Incantation (band)
Incantation is an American death metal band that was formed by John McEntee and Paul Ledney in 1989. They are one of the leaders in the New York City death-metal scene along with fellow bands Suffocation, Mortician and Immolation, even though the band is currently located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. To date, the band has released ten full-length records, two live records, four EPs, two singles, three splits, one DVD, and three demos. Their most recent album, '' Sect of Vile Divinities'', was released through Relapse Records in August 2020. The band have maintained a significant cult following and underground popularity since the '90s, and are considered to be highly influential on a range of later death metal bands including Dead Congregation, Grave Miasma, and Portal, who are often described as "cavernous death metal". Richard Christy
Thomas Richard Christy Jr. (born April 1, 1974) is an American drummer and radio personality, best known for being the former drummer for several heavy metal bands since the early 1990s, most notably Death, and his tenure on ''The Howard Stern Show''. Born and raised in Kansas, Christy took an interest in rock and heavy metal music in his youth, and started playing the drums at age ten. He played in several bands while at school. Christy's music career began in 1992 when he joined the Springfield, Missouri group Public Assassin, and also worked as an electrician. Will Rahmer
Will Rahmer (born September 30, 1969) is an American musician. He was the vocalist in the death metal band Incantation temporarily during mid-1990, before leaving to form Mortician with drummer Matt Sicher. Rahmer is the lyricist, vocalist, and bassist for Mortician, and is heavily influenced by horror movies, of which he is a collector. Known for his extremely guttural vocals, Rahmer is the co-founder of New York Death Militia and the founder of Redrum Records. The Chasm (band)
The Chasm is a death metal band originally from Mexico City, and currently residing in Chicago. They have been described as one of Mexico's most respected metal bands. The band was formed by singer/guitarist/bassist Daniel Corchado in 1992, after he left another early Mexican metal band, Cenotaph. Corchado and drummer Antonio Leon have been the band's only constant members.
