Inbal Rabin-Lieberman
Inbal Rabin-Lieberman ( he, ענבל ליברמן; born October 9, 1998) is an Israeli woman who served as the security coordinator of kibbutz Nir Am. Because of her actions, Nir-Am was one of only two communities bordering the Gaza Strip that did not suffer Israeli casualties during the Hamas-led attack on Israel on October 7, 2023 (alongside Ein HaBesor). Early life and education Inbal Rabin-Liberman was born in Kibbutz Nir Am and continues to reside there. She served in a combat unit of the IDF, and later studied at the Women's Leadership School. Security coordinator In December 2022, the kibbutz appointed Inbal Rabin-Lieberman as its security coordinator. Her duties included helping secure the kibbutz during emergencies, until police or military reinforcements could arrive. Before her appointment, the position was held by her uncle Ami Rabin. Nir Am
Nir Am ( he, נִירְעָם, ניר עם, lit. ''Nation Meadow'') is a kibbutz in southern Israel. Located near Sderot and covering 20,000 dunams, it falls under the jurisdiction of Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council. In it had a population of . History The village was established on 19 August 1943 by immigrants from Bessarabia who were members of the Gordonia youth movement, including Zvi Guershoni, later a member of the Knesset. Over the years the kibbutz has also absorbed immigrants from Argentina, France and South Africa. During the 1948 war it was the headquarters of the Negev Brigade. In a report written in March 1948 by Yaakov Riftin investigating abuses in Haganah and Palmach units, it emerged that an Arab was seized, tortured and killed. Otzma Yehudit
Otzma Yehudit ( he, עָצְמָה יְהוּדִית, , Jewish Strength', or 'Jewish Power) is a far-right political party in Israel, which has been referred to as Kahanist and anti-Arab. It was originally formed as Otzma LeYisrael (; lit., ''Strength for Israel''), which was established on 13 November 2012 by MKs Aryeh Eldad and Michael Ben-Ari, who split from the National Union to form a new party ahead of the 2013 elections.
