Ina Jang
Ina Jang (born 1982, South Korea) is a photographer based out of Brooklyn, New York. She received her BFA in photography in 2010 from the School of the Visual Arts in New York City. In 2012, she completed the school's MPS program in fashion photography. Ina Jang is represented by Foley Gallerybr> Photographs In an interview with Unseen, Jang describes her approach to photography as "playful, light-hearted and dreamy." In the same interview, she describes how many of her photographs are inspired by ideas which began in the form of drawings. One sees this close connection between drawing and photography in her photographs' compositions, which emphasize the images' two-dimensionality. Ina's work was featured in The New Yorker in 2018. Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam
Foam or Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam is a photography museum located at the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The museum has four different exhibitions at any given time in which different photographic genres are shown, such as documentary, art and fashion. Next to large exhibitions by well-known photographers, Foam also shows the work of young and upcoming photographers, in shorter running exhibitions. Two notable shows were ''Henri Cartier-Bresson - A Retrospective'', work by Henri Cartier-Bresson, and ''Richard Avedon - Photographs 1946–2004'', a major retrospective of Richard Avedon. The Magenta Foundation is a charitable art publishing house based in Toronto. It was established in 2004 by MaryAnn Camilleri to publish work from both domestic and international emerging artists through exhibitions and publications. In 2005 the foundation produced its first book, ''Carte Blanche Vol.1: Photography'', with the proceeds supporting the promotion and publication of work by artists between the ages of 13 and 25. Magenta publications and exhibitions are circulated in Canada and abroad, and the foundation brings international contemporary art to Canadian audiences.
