''In the Room Up There'' is the debut studio album by the Australian rock band Elora Danan, released through Boomtown Records on 6 March 2009. It was their first and only full-length album, before breaking up later in 2009. The band spent months writing and recording the album, which was produced by Birds of Tokyo guitarist Adam Spark. "Door, Up, Elevator" was the album's first single, and proved to be a breakthrough hit on the Australian radio station Triple J. Frontman George Green explained the song's meaning by saying it is The album's second single, "The Greater Good" also went to radio. Elora Danan (band)
Elora Danan were an Australian alternative rock band from Perth, Western Australia, formed in late 2006 from various other bands in the local scene who had ended including As A Weapon and Alleged. They took their name from a baby character in the 1988 film ''Willow''. The band's first release was an extended play (EP) entitled ''We All Have Secrets'' in 2007. They then followed up with their debut studio album in 2009, ''In the Room Up There''. The band split up later in 2009. The Getaway Plan are an Australian rock music band, which formed in 2004. Founding mainstays are Matthew Wright on lead vocals, piano and rhythm guitar and Clint Ellis on lead guitar. The Galvatrons are a four-piece rock band who formed on 28 August 2007, in Geelong, Australia. Lead singer Johnny Galvatron stated on radio station 101.3 Sea FM on the Central Coast that the band got their name from the 1986 animated film Transformers.
