In The Mourning
"In the Mourning" is a song by American rock band Paramore. It was released on 5 December 2011 as the third single from Paramore's ''Singles Club'' series which was announced on the day of the single's release. It was announced that the band would release 3 singles until the end of 2011 with a single released per month, "In The Mourning" being the third and the last song of this EP. The song was recorded with the previous singles " Monster", "Renegade" and "Hello Cold World" in a session with producer Rob Cavallo, who had previously worked with Paramore on their album ''Brand New Eyes''. Background The song was released in a video posted on 13 January 2011 on Paramore's official website. In the video, Hayley Williams and Taylor York perform the song acoustically. Paramore is an American rock band from Franklin, Tennessee, formed in 2004. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, guitarist Taylor York and drummer Zac Farro. Williams and Farro are founding members of the group, while York, a high school friend of the original lineup, joined in 2007. The band is signed to Fueled by Ramen, a subsidiary of Atlantic Records, both owned by Warner Music Group. Brand New Eyes World Tour was a series of concert tours by the American rock band Paramore, touring North America, Europe, Asia, Japan, Australia, United Kingdom, South America, New Zealand and other countries. Zachary Wayne Farro (born June 4, 1990) is an American musician, best known as the drummer for the rock band Paramore. He is the younger brother of Josh Farro, who is Paramore's former lead guitarist and backing vocalist. After he and his brother exited Paramore in 2010, Josh formed a band named Novel American, which Zac was also a part of. Farro is currently the sole member of the band HalfNoise. ''Singles Club'' is an EP released by American rock band Paramore. The songs were released as promotional singles between October and December 2011, culminating in the release of a box set containing the three constituent songs plus " Monster", which was recorded during the same sessions.
