''In Person'' (also known as ''Vince Guaraldi "In Person"'') is a live performance album by jazz pianist Vince Guaraldi, released in the U.S. on June 10, 1963 on Fantasy Records. It was released as a follow-up to his album ''Jazz Impressions of Black Orpheus'' which featured the surprise hit song " Cast Your Fate to the Wind". The concert was recorded live at The Trident Jazz Club in Sausalito, California, on December 4, 1962. Reception Contemporary '' Cashbox'' magazine cited the single "Zelao"/"Jitterbug Waltz" from ''In Person'' as a Best Bet: "Vince Guaraldi, who scored last time out with 'Cast Your Fate to the Winds' ic could duplicate that success with this top-flight bossa nova follow-up stanza. Sweet Female Attitude is an electronic music act from Manchester, England. They are known for the UK garage remix by Sunship of their track "Flowers", written by Martin Green a.k.a. Shine MC and Mike Powell, which reached number two on the UK Singles Chart in April 2000. Biography Sweet Female Attitude began in 1996. Mike Powell, then manager/music producer and creator of the original name "Sweet Female Attitude" got together with DJ Shine MC and then 17-year-old singer Leanne Brown and began writing music together. Collectively, they developed a three-member group comprising Brown, Shine MC, and Charlene Morrison, then later Sarah Bridgewood joined. Bridgewood, Green and Morrison eventually left, leaving only Brown and new addition Catherine Cassidy. ''In Person'' is a 1935 romantic musical comedy film starring Ginger Rogers and George Brent. Plot summary Glamorous movie star Carol Corliss (Ginger Rogers) suffers from agoraphobia. Her fear of large groups of people, including her adoring fans, causes the actress to assume a veiled, buck-toothed disguise whenever she is in public. Carol's psychiatrist, Dr. Aaron Sylvester (Samuel S. Hinds), recommends a vacation in the mountains as a cure. After she faints in a large crowd, outdoorsman Emory Muir (George Brent) rescues her, never believing the drab woman could be a movie star. ''In Person!'' is a 1959 album by Tony Bennett, accompanied by the Count Basie Orchestra. The album was originally intended to be a live recording of a November 1958 performance at Philadelphia's Latin Casino, but the mono recording of the concert was disregarded by producer Al Ham who wanted the album recorded in stereo. Bennett and Basie were then reunited in the studio a month later to recreate the live concert. Fake applause was dubbed onto the original release of ''In Person!'' by Ham, and placed in incorrect places on the album. The effect was poorly received and removed for the album's 1994 re-issue. In his autobiography, ''The Good Life'', Bennett wrote that "I never understood why we didn't release the live version. The whole attempt at fabricating an audience was in bad taste" and that as a result of the experience he had always preferred the second album he recorded with Basie that year, '' Strike Up the Band''.
