In Memory of My Father is a 2005 film directed, written, and produced by Chris Jaymes starring Jeremy Sisto, Judy Greer, Christine Lakin, Matt Keeslar, Pat Healy, and Chris Jaymes. The film had its world premiere at the Cinevegas Film Festival in June 2005 winning the Best Film Award. The film was distributed by Sundance Channel and Scanbox Entertainment. The music was done by Scottish band Belle & Sebastian. Plot A self-proclaimed (somewhat justifiably) film legend bribes his son to document his death under the unquestioning assumption that it will be historically important. Jeremy Merton Sisto (born October 6, 1974) is an American actor. He is known for his roles as Billy Chenowith in HBO's '' Six Feet Under'', NYPD Detective Cyrus Lupo in NBC's '' Law & Order'', George Altman in the ABC sitcom ''Suburgatory'', for which he was nominated for a Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, & Jubal Valentine in the CBS drama series ''FBI''. Belle and Sebastian are a Scottish indie pop band formed in Glasgow in 1996. Led by Stuart Murdoch, the band has released eleven albums.
