Background In Italian is a chestnut mare who was bred in Great Britain by John Camilleri's Fairway Thoroughbreds, a daughter of Dubawi out of the Australian-bred Redoute's Choice mare Florentina, winner of the Group 3 Gold Coast Guineas at Gold Coast Racecourse, Surfers Paradise, Australia. Dubawi (foaled 7 February 2002) is a retired Thoroughbred racehorse and active sire. Background Dubawi is a bay horse with no white markings bred in Ireland by Sheikh Mohammed's Darley Stud. He was one of the only crop of foals sired by Dubai Millennium, an outstanding racehorse. His dam, Zomaradah was a top class racemare who won the Oaks d'Italia, E. P. Taylor Stakes, Premio Lydia Tesio and the Royal Whip Stakes. As a descendant of the broodmare Sunbittern, Zomaradah, who also produced the Lancashire Oaks winner Emirates Queen, was closely related to In the Wings, High-Rise and Virginia Waters. Street Cry (11 March 1998 – 17 September 2014) was a Thoroughbred racehorse, winner of the 2002 Dubai World Cup, the 2002 Stephen Foster Handicap and runner up in the 2002 Whitney Handicap. Between May 2015 and her retirement in April 2019, she won 33 consecutive races including 25 Group 1s (a world record), at distances ranging from 1300 metres (roughly furlongs) to 2200 metres (roughly 11 furlongs). Tattersalls (formerly Tattersall's) is the main auctioneer of race horses in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Founding It was founded in 1766 by Richard Tattersall (1724–1795), who had been stud groom to the second Duke of Kingston. The first premises occupied were near Hyde Park Corner, in what was then the outskirts of London.
