''In Bed with Medinner'' is a late-night British TV programme starring Bob Mills (comedian), Bob Mills and originally broadcast in the 1990s. It is a precursor to the contemporary ''Harry Hill's TV Burp'', Russell Brand's ''Ponderland'' and Paddy McGuinness's ''Paddy's TV Guide''. ''In Bed with Medinner'' was a London Weekend Television production for ITV (TV network), ITV. Bob Mills (comedian)
Robert Edward Mills (born 30 June 1957) is an English comedian and broadcaster, who has appeared in the television series ''In Bed with Medinner'' and ''The Show (British TV series), The Show''. Early life Mills was born in Chester and attended Queens Park High School, Chester City Grammar School. After a very short spell of training for the Merchant Navy (United Kingdom), Merchant Navy, he quit and worked as a valet in King's Cross, London and as a Hoffman dry cleaning presser operator, driver and delivery man. After seeing Kevin Day and Eddie Zibbin (Pat Condell) at the Market Tavern in Islington in 1983, he decided to become a comedian and was a mainstay for the British 'stand-up' circuit for several years. ''Family Fortunes'' is a British television game show based on the American game show ''Family Feud''. The programme ran on ITV from 6 January 1980 to 30 December 2002. A celebrity version, ''All Star Family Fortunes'', followed from 2006 to 2015. In 2020, the original version of the show returned after 18 years with Gino D'Acampo as host. The game involves two families providing answers to 'everyday questions' that were surveyed by 100 members of the British public before the show (e.g., 'Name something usually done in the dark.') to win cash prizes (and sometimes mystery prizes for giving a correct answer). The top answers to the surveys are displayed on a large electronic board, christened by Bob Monkhouse as "Mr. Babbage". ''15 Storeys High'' is a British sitcom, set in a tower block. It originated as two radio series broadcast in 1998–2000, transferring to television in 2002–2004. The main characters in the television series are Vince Clark, a depressed, sardonic recluse played by Sean Lock, and Errol Spears, Vince's optimistic whipping boy, played by Benedict Wong. Buzzcocks are an English punk rock band formed in Bolton, England in 1976 by singer-songwriter-guitarist Pete Shelley and singer-songwriter Howard Devoto. They are regarded as a seminal influence on the Manchester music scene, the independent record label movement, punk rock, power pop, and pop punk. They achieved commercial success with singles that fused pop craftsmanship with rapid-fire punk energy. "Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)" is a 1978 song written by Pete Shelley and performed by his group Buzzcocks.
