InMe
InMe are an English alternative rock/metal band originally formed in Brentwood, Essex in 1996. They have released seven studio albums, two EPs, one bootleg album, one best-of compilation, one live album, one live EP and an acoustic album. A DVD of the band's '' Overgrown Eden'' show at the Highbury Garage in November 2010 was released via PledgeMusic as a part of the band's campaign for their fifth album ''The Pride''. The band has had eight singles appear on the UK Top 100 Singles Chart. The band are open about the fact that they all have day jobs, and ask fans to support them financially. History Formation (1996–2000) The group originally formed as Drowned in 1996 when many of the band were just 14 years old. The Pride (album)
''The Pride'' is the fifth studio album from the band InMe. It is the first full-length album of new material to feature lead guitarist Gazz Marlow. It was released via PledgeMusic on 19 February 2012. The album was awarded KKKK by Kerrang! and 8/10 by Rock Sound magazine, and described on Twitter as "magnificent" by XFMs Rich Walters. Development of the album The development of the album started as early as 2009. Dave McPherson wrote a whole album's worth of material more in the vein of Herald Moth's technical metal style but scrapped all but two songs, which feature on the band's best of compilation. The second wave of writing started in 2010 and continues through until mid-2011, with the track list gradually being built up. Songs such as "A Great Man" were finished earlier, whereas other tunes such as "Moonlit Seabed" were completed just prior to the final recording session in October 2011. Overgrown Eden
''Overgrown Eden'' is the debut album from Essex rock band InMe. The album was released in the UK on 27 January 2003 (initially set for a late 2002 release before being pushed back to 2003). The album produced four singles before and after the album's release. The singles released were "Underdose", "Firefly", "Crushed like Fruit" and "Neptune". The album was re-released in its original format on 5 June 2006. This was due to getting the rights for ''Overgrown Eden'' from the now defunct record label Music for Nations (which transferred to Zomba). Due to the demise of MFN, this was the first and last album released by InMe on this record label. The highest UK Album Chart position was No. 15. However, it reached No. 1 in the Rock Album Chart. Phoenix FM is a community radio station serving the areas of Brentwood and Billericay, United Kingdom on 98.0FM and online, covering an area of over 140,000 people. History The station was formed in 1996 and has been broadcasting full-time on FM since 23 March 2007, having completed twelve 28-day restricted service licence broadcasts on FM between 1996 and 2006. On 16 February 2006, Ofcom announced that Phoenix FM, after ten years of campaigning, had been awarded a full-time Community Radio licence. Josh Abraham is an American record producer, songwriter, and music executive.
