Imtihaan (TV Show)
''Imtihaan'' is an Indian television series broadcast on DD National in 1995. The show was produced by Anupam Kher and later episodes were directed by a then novice Imtiaz Ali. Title song of the show - ''Aankhon mein rok le, tu ye aasuon ka toofan. Leti hai zindgaani, har kadam pe ek Imtihaan'' was very popular. This song was sung by Abhijeet and composed by Ajit Varman. The cast included well-known actors such as Alok Nath, Renuka Shahane, Anang Desai, Raju Kher, Firdaus Dadi, Ninad Kamat, Sachin Khedekar, Manoj Bajpayee and others. Character played by Renuka Shahane was later replaced by Pallavi Joshi. Imtiaz Ali (director)
Imtiaz Ali (born 16 June 1971) is an Indian film director, producer, actor and writer who works in Hindi cinema. Early and personal life Imtiaz Ali was born in Jamshedpur and spent some of his early years in Patna. Imtiaz belongs to the Muslim family of Jamshedpur in Bihar (now Jharkhand). His father Mansoor Ali was a contractor who did irrigation job, and as a child he would sometimes accompany him, which gave Imtiaz a sense of what was going on in the innards of India. His uncle, through his mother, is Pakistani TV actor and director/producer Khalid Ahmed. He had his early education in St. Michael's High School,Patna and later in D.B.M.S. Pallavi Joshi (born 4 April 1969) is an Indian actress, writer, and film producer who works primarily in Hindi films and television. Anang Desai
Anang Desai (born 4 May 1953) is an Indian film and television actor. Renuka Shahane (born 7 October 1966) is an Indian actress working in the Bollywood film industry and in Indian television, best known as the co-presenter of the Doordarshan TV show ''Surabhi'' (1993–2001).
