Imre Timkó
Imre Timkó (13 August 1920 – 30 March 1988) was a Hungarian Greek Catholic hierarch. He was bishop of the Hungarian Greek Catholic Eparchy of Hajdúdorog from 1972 to 1988 and Apostolic Administrator of Apostolic Exarchate of Miskolc from 1972 to 1988. Born in Budapest, Hungary in 1920, he was ordained a priest on 8 December 1945. He was appointed the Bishop by the Holy See on 7 January 1975. He was consecrated to the Episcopate on 8 February 1975. The principal consecrator was Bishop Joakim Segedi, and the principal co-consecrators were Archbishop József Ijjas and Archbishop József Bánk. Hungarian Greek Catholic Church
The Hungarian Greek Catholic Church ( hu, Magyar görögkatolikus egyház; la, Ecclesia Graeco-Catholica Hungariae) or Hungarian Byzantine Catholic Church is a metropolitan '' sui iuris'' ("autonomous") Eastern Catholic particular church in full communion with the Catholic Church. It is headquartered in Debrecen. Its liturgical usage is that of the Byzantine Rite in the Hungarian language. Szilárd Keresztes
Szilárd Keresztes (born July 19, 1932 in Nyíracsád, Hungary) is a Hungarian Greek Catholic bishop. He had been Bishop of Hajdúdorog and apostolic administrator of the Apostolic Exarchate of Miskolc from 1975 to 2008. Life He studied philosophy and theology between 1950 and 1955 at the Greek Catholic Major Seminary of Nyíregyháza. He was ordained priest by Bishop Miklós Dudás OSBM of Hajdúdorog in 1955. He earned a doctorate in sacred theology in 1957 at the Pázmány Péter Academy of Theology in Budapest. He served as parish pastor in Kispest, Budapest from 1957 to 1960. Between 1960 and 1970 he was associate pastor and chanter in Nyíregyháza, where he also taught philosophy, dogmatic theology and catechetics. In 1966 he won a scholarship to study at the Pontifical Oriental Institute in Rome, Italy as a student of the Pontifical Hungarian Institute for three years, where he obtained a licentiate in eastern theology. Joakim Segedi (27 October 1904 – 20 March 2004) was a Ruthenian and Croatian Greek Catholic hierarch. He was auxiliary bishop as Titular Bishop of Gypsaria from 1963 to 1984 of the Eastern Catholic Eparchy of Križevci. In 17 March 2004, three days before his death, was elevated in rank of the titular archbishop with the same titular see of Gypsaria. Biography Born in Ruski Krstur, Austria-Hungary (present day – Serbia) in 1904, he was ordained a priest on 4 September 1927 by Bishop Dionisije Njaradi for the Eparchy of Križevci. Fr. Segedi was the spiritual director of the Greek Catholic Seminary in Zagreb from 1930 to 1936 and the Bishop's personal assistant from 1936 to 1940.
