Imran Hussain ( ur, عمران حسین; born on March 10, 1981), is a retired Pakistani footballer who last played for Pakistan Army as a ( striker). The Pakistan Premier League (PPL; ur, پاکستان پریمیئر لیگ) is a Pakistani professional league for men's association football clubs. The 2005–06 Pakistan Premier League season was the 2nd season of Pakistan Premier League and 51st season of Pakistan domestic football. WAPDA were the defending champions, winning their 1st Pakistan Premier League and 5th Pakistani title last season. Pakistan Army won the title on 19 October 2005, after defeating Pakistan Telecommunication 2-0, with 54th and 70th minute goals from Mubassar and Jaffar Hussain, Army had one game to play against WAPDA who were three points away first position. The 2006–07 Pakistan Premier League season was the 3rd season since the inception of Pakistan Premier League and 52nd season of Pakistan domestic football. The football season was moved from the summer to the winter months. Pakistan Army ended the season as league champions, successfully defending the title and winning their second title in three years. The Pakistan Premier League Golden Boot is an annual Pakistani association football award given to the top goalscorer at the end of the Pakistan Premier League season, the top domestic league competition in club football in Pakistan, since its creation in 2004. The top-scoring Pakistan Premier League Golden Boot winners are Kaleemullah Khan with 35 goals in a 30-game season, Muhammad Rasool when the league was a 22-game season, with 22 goals each. Arif Mehmood had the second-highest scoring of 20 goals. Mehmood won the award for the most times with 5 golden boots, all of them with WAPDA.
