Impulse (band)
Impulse is a Bulgarian rock/metal group, formed by Iliya Kunchev in March 1979. They have released six albums, the most famous being "Gladiator". History The band was formed in March 1979 by Iliya Kunchev. In the first line-up also were Vasil Stoev, Peyo Peev, Chavdar Panev and Vili Kavaljiev. The start of group came on Bulgarian National Radio. In the beginning they played melodic pop rock songs. Famous Bulgarian singer Veselin Marinov was the band's vocalist in 1981-1983. The most famous Impulse's song with Marinov on vocals is "Srednoshtna muzika" (en. "Midnight music"). In 1984 Impulse recorded their first album, called ''Impulse 1''. The ballad "Ako ti si otidesh za mig" (en. "If you go away for moment") became a hit. This song is in the BG Radio's chart "500 greatest Bulgarian songs". Rock Im Park
The (German language, German for "Rock at the Ring") and ("Rock in the Park") festivals are two simultaneous rock music festivals held annually. While ''Rock am Ring'' takes place at the Nürburgring race track, ''Rock im Park'' takes place at the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg. Sharing nearly identical lineups, the two festivals are usually regarded as one event. All artists perform one day at the Nürburgring and another day in Nürnberg during the three-day event. There have been minor exceptions in the past years where an artist would be announced for one of the festivals only. Combined, Rock im Park and Rock am Ring are the largest music festivals held in Germany and one of the largest in the world with a combined attendance of over 150,000 people in 2007, selling out both events in advance for the first time. Peyo Peev
Pierre Culliford (; 25 June 1928 – 24 December 1992) was a Belgian comics writer and artist who worked under the pseudonym Peyo (). His best-known works are the comic book series ''The Smurfs'' and ''Johan and Peewit'', the latter in which the Smurfs first appeared. Bulgarian Rock Archives (or Български рок архиви) is the first online encyclopedia dedicated to rock music in Bulgaria. Launched online on 2 August 2013 and includes more than 350 bands and performers from the mid-1960s. The articles are divided in alphabetical order, year of creation, style, location. Profiles of the groups include a short biography, discography, composition, links to videos, and links to official sites and profiles. Starting 4 June 2015, the site uses a new version, has made an example from the world heavy metal encyclopaedia - Encyclopaedia Metallum, with better features and design. Scorpions (band)
Scorpions are a German rock band formed in Hanover in 1965 by guitarist Rudolf Schenker. Since the band's inception, its musical style has ranged from hard rock, heavy metal and glam metal to soft rock. The lineup from 1978 to 1992 was the most successful incarnation of the group, and included Klaus Meine (vocals), Rudolf Schenker (rhythm guitar), Matthias Jabs (lead guitar), Francis Buchholz (bass), and Herman Rarebell (drums). The band's only continuous member has been Schenker, although Meine has appeared on all of Scorpions' studio albums, while Jabs has been a consistent member since 1978, and bassist Paweł Mąciwoda and drummer Mikkey Dee have been in the band since 2003 and 2016 respectively.
