Impact Plus (stylized as IMPACT! +Plus) is a video streaming service owned and operated by Anthem Wrestling Exhibitions, the parent company of professional wrestling promotion Impact Wrestling. The platform replaced the Global Wrestling Network and features services not previously available on GWN, notably live monthly premium events. The platform utilized the technology and ecosystem of Brightcove. History The first service to stream Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) content on-demand happened in 2009, when the company introduced its TNA Video Vault. The service changed its name to 'TNA On Demand' in 2010 and ran up until around early 2013. The company also launched the 'TNA Wrestling Plus' YouTube channel - where users could rent pay-per-views and documentaries previously released on DVD. ''Wrestling at the Chase'' is a professional wrestling television series of local and national historical importance in the field of television wrestling. The show was recorded in St. Louis, Missouri, for KPLR-TV, Channel 11, and aired from May 23, 1959, to September 10, 1983. It was promoted by the St. Louis Wrestling Club, which was a member of the National Wrestling Alliance. Origin The show was the brainchild of Sam Muchnick, president of the St. Louis Wrestling Club, and Harold Koplar, who owned KPLR and the Chase Park Plaza Hotel. The two were together on an airplane in 1958 and wondered how they could put wrestling into St. Louis-area homes. A few episodes under that name were filmed elsewhere locally. Impact! Xplosion
''Xplosion'' was a professional wrestling television program that was produced by the Impact Wrestling promotion. Launched in 2002, the show featured highlights from Impact's flagship television program, exclusive taped matches, and other content. It was mainly produced for international markets, though in its later years, episodes would be distributed in the United States on Impact Plus. The show was cancelled in 2021, after almost twenty years of broadcast, and its final episode aired on March 6, 2021. It was replaced by ''Before the Impact'', which premiered two weeks prior. ''One Night Only'' was a series of professional wrestling events held by Impact Wrestling launched in April 2013. The concept was announced on January 11, 2013 by then-Total Nonstop Action (TNA) President Dixie Carter as a part of a change to their pay-per-view programming. Prior to the change, the company held live pay-per-view events monthly. The series consists of events that are taped and released later periodically on pay-per-view, typically on the first Friday of every month, except for the months that featured one of the company's main pay-per-view events. This is a list of pay-per-view (PPV) events held by the American professional wrestling promotion Impact Wrestling. From its inception, Impact Wrestling's main output was a two-hour weekly program broadcast exclusively on pay-per-view. Their first event was held on June 19, 2002 in Huntsville, Alabama; the last of these shows aired on September 8, 2004. Soon after the launch of its flagship, weekly television program, '' Impact!'', on June 4, 2004, the promotion began producing monthly, live, three-hour pay-per-view events; the first of these events, Victory Road aired on November 7, 2004. These events were initially held at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. Rebellion is a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by Impact Wrestling, which is annually held during the month of April. The event was first held in 2019 and it has since become one of the promotion's "Big Four" events (along with Hard to Kill, Slammiversary, and Bound for Glory). He is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he also serves as Director of Business Development.
