''Impact'' was a monthly magazine published in the United Kingdom between January 1992 and January 2012. Founded and initially edited by film maker Bey Logan, 241 issues were published during its twenty-year history. After the magazine ceased publication, it continued as an online presence. It is likely modelled on its French counterpart, also known as ''Impact'', which was started in 1986. It covers the field of action entertainment: including Hong Kong action cinema, worldwide martial arts films, Hollywood productions, anime, comics, action films and East Asian cinema in general. The website is edited by John Mosby, with Mike Leeder acting as Eastern Editor from the Hong Kong office, and Andrez Bergen as Tokyo Correspondent. Mike Leeder (born 5 August 1968, in Croydon, England) is an English casting director, producer and actor based in Hong Kong. Leeder has been responsible for DVD and Blu-ray special features for many Hong Kong productions. He worked on such projects as ''Fearless'' (2006), ''The Raid 2'' (2014), ''The Man with the Iron Fists'' (2012), ''Man of Tai Chi'' (2013), ''Ultimate Justice'' (2016), '' Rogue One: A Star Wars Story'' (2016), ''Chasing the Dragon'' (2017) and Donnie Yen's ''Big Brother'' (2018). Phil Hobden (born 14 August 1976 in Lewes, England) is a filmmaker and writer based in the South of England. He is also notable as a screenwriter, film producer, journalist and media campaigner. Hobden is the co-founder of Independent production company Modern Life? and has been responsible for the DVD release of numerous films through his distribution sales company Pulp Movies.
