Immaculata Football Club is an intermediate, Northern Ireland association football club based in west Belfast and playing in the Premier Division of the Northern Amateur Football League. The club plays in sky blue and plays home games at Grosvenor Recreation Centre (The Cage) on the Grosvenor Road in West Belfast close to the Westlink. Immaculata FC is currently managed by Brian McCaul. History The club was established in 1944 by the Legion of Mary as a football and boxing club. Although they were initially most noted for their youth teams Immaculata's seniors also played initially in the now defunct Lisburn League and then in the Dunmurry League (now the Belfast & District League). They play in the Northern Amateur Football League (NAFL), and have spent most of their time in the league's lower divisions. Magherafelt (, mˠaxəɾʲəˈfʲiːlt̪ˠə is a small town and civil parish in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It had a population of 8,805 at the 2011 Census. Newbuildings or New Buildings is a large village in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It lies close to the banks of the River Foyle and south of the city of Derry. It had a population of 3,381 in the 2011 Census. It is within Derry and Strabane district. History The village was founded in the early 17th century as part of the Plantation of Ulster, on land allocated to the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths of London. It remained a small settlement until the 1960s, until large amounts of social housing was built on adjoining townlands. Banbridge ( , ) is a town in County Down, Northern Ireland. It lies on the River Bann and the A1 road and is named after a bridge built over the River Bann in 1712. It is situated in the civil parish of Seapatrick and the historic barony of Iveagh Upper, Upper Half. The town began as a coaching stop on the road from Belfast to Dublin and thrived from Irish linen manufacturing. The town was home to the headquarters of the former Banbridge District Council. The Northern Amateur Football League, also known as the Northern Amateur League and often simply as the Amateur League, is an association football league in Northern Ireland. It contains 13 divisions. These comprise four intermediate sections: the Premier Division, Division 1A, Division 1B and Division 1C; three junior sections: Division 2A, Division 2B and Division 2C; and six reserve sections. Clubs in membership (2019–20) Intermediate Format The league season lasts from August to May with each club playing the others twice, once at their home ground and once at that of their opponents.
