''Imaginary Friends'' is the fourth studio album by Freezepop, released on December 7, 2010. History ''Imaginary Friends'' is the first Freezepop album to be released since the departure of The Duke of Pannekoeken and addition of Robert John "Bananas" Foster and Christmas Disco-Marie Sagan. The album went on pre-sale on November 26, 2010. People who preordered Imaginary Friends received an "Instant Gratification Pack." This pack included five tracks: two songs from Imaginary Friends, a remix of both those songs and a B-side. Additionally, the band posted the song "Magnetic" on their website for free. Shortly before the presale went active, the song was pulled and replaced with "Doppelgänger." "Magnetic" then became one of the two songs available in the Instant Gratification Pack. 1000 copies of the album were released as a limited edition double CD with autographs from the band and an extra disc called "Secret Companion." Freezepop
Freezepop is an American electronic music, electronic band from Boston, Massachusetts, United States, formed in 1999 by Liz Enthusiasm, Sean T. Drinkwater, and The Duke of Pannekoeken (an alias for Kasson Crooker). Since December 2009, the current lineup includes Enthusiasm, Drinkwater, Robert John "Bananas" Foster, and Christmas Disco-Marie Sagan. The band is named after the ice pop, frozen snack, and they have described their music as "sweet and cold and fruity and plastic-y". Several of the band's songs have appeared in video games, including the Harmonix Music Systems, Harmonix titles ''Frequency (video game), Frequency'', ''Amplitude (2003 video game), Amplitude'', ''Karaoke Revolution'', ''Phase (video game), Phase'', the ''Guitar Hero'' series, the ''Rock Band'' series, and Neon FM. Synth-pop
Synth-pop (short for synthesizer pop; also called techno-pop; ) is a subgenre of new wave music that first became prominent in the late 1970s and features the synthesizer as the dominant musical instrument. Future Future Future Perfect
''Future Future Future Perfect'' is the third full-length studio album by Freezepop. It was released on September 25, 2007 by Cordless Recordings. History The first details of the album were posted on April 16, 2007 on the band's MySpace blog. More details were posted on June 8, again on the band's MySpace blog. This update included the album's title and release date. On July 10, the band posted the song "Ninja of Love" on their MySpace band profile for their fans to preview. On August 25, the band played at PAX 2007, during which they confirmed their song "Brainpower" would feature in the upcoming game '' Rock Band''. On September 21, the album was put up in its entirety on the band's MySpace. The limited edition release of the album comes in a foil digipak case. Kasson Crooker
Kasson Crooker is an American electronic musician, a composer, and the artist behind Symbion Project, his solo moniker. His past bands are Freezepop, Splashdown, Larkspur, and Sirensong. DJ HMX, Komputer Kontroller, and Cosmonaut Zero were alias bands of Crooker used only for the videogames ''FreQuency'' and ''Amplitude''. Music career In 1999, Crooker formed the synthpop group Freezepop with Liz Enthusiasm and Sean T. Drinkwater. While in the band he went by various aliases, starting as The Duke of Candied Apples, then briefly being known as The Duke of Belgian Waffles, and finally The Duke of Pannenkoeken. In September 2009, Kasson retired from Freezepop to focus his efforts on his work at Harmonix. He has made several guest appearances at Freezepop concerts since then, often also playing a Symbion Project set. Rock Band Network
The ''Rock Band'' Network (abbreviated RBN) was a downloadable content service designed by Harmonix with the help of Microsoft to allow musical artists and record labels to make their music available as playable tracks for the ''Rock Band'' series of rhythm video games, starting with '' Rock Band 2''. It was designed to allow more music to be incorporated into ''Rock Band'' than Harmonix themselves could produce for the games, and it was seen as a way to further expand the games' music catalog into a wide variety of genres. ''Rock Band 4'' is a 2015 music video game developed and published by Harmonix. ''Rock Band 4'' allows players to simulate the playing of music across many different decades and genres using instrument controllers that mimic playing lead and bass guitar, drums, and vocals. As the fourth main installment and the 7th major console installment in the ''Rock Band'' franchise, it was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 6, 2015.
