Illarion Aleksandrovich Ivanov-Schitz (russian: Илларио́н Алекса́ндрович Иванов-Шиц; 18651937) was a Russian architect, notable for developing a unique personal style, blending the Vienna Secession school of Otto Wagner with Greek Revival features. His career peaked in 1902-1912 with several Moscow buildings including the Morozov Hospital, the Merchant Club (now the Lenkom Theatre), Moscow Savings Bank, and the public buildings in Miusskaya Square. He was one of the few architects born in the 1860s who integrated into the Soviet Union, Soviet establishment, earning the Order of Lenin for various resort projects and for redesigning the interiors of the Grand Kremlin Palace in the 1930s. Illarion Vissarionovich Mgeladze (Georgian: ილარიონ ბესარიონის ძე მგელაძე; 1890, Lanchkhuti – 27 July, 1941) (pseudonym - Ilya Vardin ) was a Georgian Marxist revolutionary, writer, literary critic and journalist active in the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party and later the Soviet Union. Early Career Mgeladze was born in Georgia. His family were peasants. He joined the Bolsheviks in 1906. In 1910 he was a member of the Moscow Committee of the Russian Social Democratic Labour Party (RSDLP). Later he moved to Saratov, where he edited the newspaper ''Sotsial-Demokrat''. He moved to Moscow after the October Revolution, and served as a political commissar with the First Cavalry Army during the civil war. In 1920, he was a member of the bureau of the Kyiv Provincial Communist Party Committee, then later worked for the press of the Central Committee. Illarion Mikhailovich Pryanishnikov (russian: Илларио́н Миха́йлович Пря́нишников; – ) was a Russian painter, one of the founders of the Peredvizhniki artistic cooperative, which broke away from the rigors of their time and became one of the most important Russian art schools of the late 19th century. Biography Illarion Pryanishnikov was born in the village of Timashovo in the Borovsky Uyezd of Kaluga Governorate (today's Borovsky District of Kaluga Oblast) in a family of merchants. Illarion Illarionovich Vasilchikov (1805 – 12 November 1862) was an Imperial Russian general. He was the son of Illarion Vasilyevich Vasilchikov and Vera Vasilchikova. He was the father of Sergei Vasilchikov. One of his daughters married Alexander Meyendorf. Count Illarion Ivanovich Vorontsov-Dashkov (russian: Илларио́н Ива́нович Воронцов-Дашков; 27 May 1837 – 15 January 1916) was a notable representative of the Vorontsov family. He served as Minister of Imperial Properties in 1881-97 and the Governor-General of the Caucasus Viceroyalty (1801–1917) in 1905–15. Career Illarion Vorontsov was born on 27 May 1837 in Saint Petersburg. He took part in the conquest of Central Asia in the 1860s and was appointed Major General in 1866. He was in charge of the Hussar regiment of the Leub Guard in 1867–74.
