Illale Devata
''Illale Devata'' () is a 1985 Telugu-language drama film directed by Tatineni Prasad. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Raadhika and Bhanupriya, with music composed by Chakravarthy. The film was produced by N. R. Anuradha Devi under the Lakshmi Films Combines banner. It is a remake of Singeetam Srinivasa Rao's debut Kannada film ''Haalu Jenu'' (1982). Plot Gopi Krishna (Akkineni Nageswara Rao) a middle-class guy leads a joyful life with his wife Lakshmi (Raadhika). Once it is diagnosed that Lakshmi is suffering from blood cancer, to protect her Gopi has to accumulate a huge amount for which he turns into a conman and misleads several people. In that process, he gets acquainted with a millionaire Durgamma (Annapurna) a shrew when he falsely, convinces her as their distinct relative and Radha (Bhanupriya), Durgamma's daughter falls for him. Akkineni Nageswara Rao
Akkineni Nageswara Rao (20 September 1923 – 22 January 2014), widely known as ANR, was an Indian actor and producer, known for his works majorly in Telugu cinema. He starred in many landmark films in his seventy five-year career, and became one of the most prominent figures of Telugu cinema. Nageswara Rao received seven state Nandi Awards, and five Filmfare Awards South. Sarathi, also called Kadali Jaya Sarathi, (26 June 1942 – 1 August 2022) was an Indian comedic actor and producer in the Cinema of Andhra Pradesh, Telugu film industry. Veturi Sundararama Murthy (29 January 1936 – 22 May 2010), known mononymously by his surname Veturi, was an Indian poet, lyricist and journalist who is popular for writing Telugu songs. Nagesh (born Cheyur Krishnarao Nageshwaran; (27 September 1933 – 31 January 2009) was an Indian actor, mostly remembered for his roles as a comedian in Tamil films during the 1960s.
