Ildar Abdrazakov
Ildar Amirovich Abdrazakov (russian: Ильда́р Ами́рович Абдраза́ков; ba, Абдразаҡов Илдар Әмир улы, ''Abdrazaqov İldar Ämir ulı''; born 26 September 1976) is a Russian bass opera singer. Honoured Artist of Russia (2021). Early life and career Abdrazakov was born in Ufa, the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia. His elder brother, Askar, is also a professional operatic bass; they have performed together, most notably at the Washington National Opera. His parents were both artists: his mother a painter, and his father (deceased) a director. Joined the Bashkirian Opera and Ballet Theatre after graduating from the Ufa State Institute of Arts. He won a number of vocal competitions in the late 1990s including the Moscow Grand Prix, the Glinka International Vocal Competition, the Rimsky-Korsakov International Competition and the Elena Obraztsova International Competition of Young Opera Singers. Havildar or havaldar ( Hindustani: or (Devanagari), (Perso-Arabic)) is a rank in the Indian, Pakistani and Nepalese armies, equivalent to sergeant. It is not used in cavalry units, where the equivalent is daffadar. Like a British sergeant, a havildar wears three rank chevrons. History "Havildar" is a Persian word in origin and means "person in charge", or more loosely "chief", from the Arabic ("charge", "responsibility") and the Persian (dâr, "holder"). Historically, a havildar was a senior commander, being in charge of a fort during the times of the Mughal Empire. Ildar Ilhamovich Rakhmatullin (born 6 March 1986) is a Russian racing driver currently competing in the Russian Circuit Racing Series. He previously competed in the TCR International Series and FIA European Rallycross Championship. Racing career Rakhmatullin began his career in 1996 in karting. In 2007 he switched to the Russian Ice Racing Championship, and he won the championship that year. In 2008 he switched to the Russian Rallycross Championship, finishing the season 4th in the championship standings.
