Il Paramedico
''Il paramedico'' (''The Paramedic'') is a 1982 Italian comedy film directed by Sergio Nasca. Plot Mario Miglio, a penniless nurse, accidentally wins a Fiat Argenta. The new machine helps him to conquer Vittoria, the beautiful wife of the banker Pinna, but it also causes him several troubles, as terrorists steal it: for a misunderstanding, Mario himself is mistaken for one of them. Sergio Nasca
Sergio Nasca (1 August 1937 – 14 August 1989) was an Italian film director and screenwriter. Life and career Born in Rome, Nasca started his career in 1965 as assistant director of Enzo Battaglia in ''Idoli controluce'', then he worked as a production manager. He made his film debut in 1974 with '' Il saprofita'', a film which raised several controversities for its violence. His cinema was initially characterized by violent provocations gradually tempered by bittersweet tones. He died at the age of 52 of an incurable disease. Vincenzo "Enzo" Cannavale (5 April 1928 – 18 March 2011) was an Italian film actor. He appeared in more than 100 films since 1949, including ''Cinema Paradiso'', which won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 62nd Academy Awards in 1990. Carlo Monni
Carlo Monni (23 October 1943 – 19 May 2013) was an Italian film, television and stage actor. Born in Campi Bisenzio, Florence, Monni started his artistic activity in early seventies, as an actor in the Tuscan vernacular comic theater. Franco Diogene
Franco Diogene (20 October 1947 – 27 May 2005) was an Italian actor and comedian. Life and career Born Concetto Francesco Diogene in Catania, he was the son of a Sicilian father and a Ligurian mother. At 5 years old, Diogene moved to Genoa with his family. In Genoa he completed his studies, and also started acting in a little theater of a parish. Since the early 1970s, he was one of the most active character actors in Italian cinema, often cast in humorous roles. He was also cast in several international productions, such as '' Midnight Express'', in a role of Turkish lawyer and ''The Name of the Rose'', mainly thanks to his foreign language skills. Diogene was also active as a stand-up comedian, and he was the organizer of the beauty contest "Miss Top Model Universe". Diogene died of a heart attack, aged 57 years old.
