''Il cielo in una stanza'' is an album by Italian singer Mina, issued in 1960. It was published on CD in 1992 and re-issued in 2009 in a new vinyl version by label Carosello. In 1965, the label Philips issued the same record with Spanish versions of the songs in Argentina. Even if the actual authors of the song "Il cielo in una stanza" are Gino Paoli and Mogol, the credits of the album say the authors were Toang (Renato Angiolini) and Mogol. The song was covered by Mina herself in 1969 (for the album '' I discorsi'') and in 1988 (for the album '' Oggi ti amo di più''). Mina Anna Maria Mazzini (born 25 March 1940) or Mina Anna Quaini (for the Swiss civil registry), known mononymously as Mina, is an Italian-Swiss singer and actress. She was a staple of television variety shows and a dominant figure in Italian pop music from the 1960s to the mid-1970s, known for her three-octave vocal range, the agility of her soprano voice, and her image as an Feminism, emancipated woman. Michael Logan is an American jazz bassist. He worked with, among others, Muhal Richard Abrams, Walter Bishop jr., Artie Simmons and the Jazz Samaritans, Clifford Jordan. In 1974 he collaborated with the Italian singer-songwriter and musician Giuni Russo, in writing her first album, ''Love is a woman'' (1975), entirely in English. Berto Pisano (13 October 1928 – 29 January 2002) was an Italian composer, conductor, arranger and jazz musician. Born in Cagliari, Sardinia, Pisano started his career as a contrabassist in the jazz groups Quartetto Astor and Asternovas. Marcello Ciorciolini (16 January 1922 – 5 September 2011) was an Italian screenwriter, director, playwright, television and radio author and lyricist. Dino Verde (13 July 1922 – 1 February 2004) was an Italian author, lyricist, playwright and screenwriter. Life and career Born Edoardo Verde in Naples, in 1943 he started working in the satirical magazine ''Marc'Aurelio''. Lelio Luttazzi (27 April 1923 – 8 July 2010) was an Italian composer, musician, actor, singer, conductor, writer, and television and radio presenter. Born in Trieste, Luttazzi began playing the piano at Radio Trieste and composing his first songs when he was student in law at the University of Trieste during the Second World War. After the war, he had from SIAE a gain of 350,000 lire, a considerable sum for the time, so he decided to become a full-time composer and in 1948 he moved to Milan where he began working with fellow Teddy Reno at the record company CGD. Roberto Livraghi (born 18 March 1937) is an Italian composer and sport manager. Leo Chiosso (b. Turin, 8 August 1920 – d. Chieri, Italy, 26 November 2006) was an Italian lyricist mostly known for his work with Fred Buscaglione. They formed a songwriting duo who produced about forty songs and created Buscaglione's public persona, a humorous tough guy with a penchant for whisky and women. Chiosso and Buscaglione met in 1938 in the night-club scene of Turin, hometown to both of them. At that time, Chiosso was a university student, while Buscaglione eked out a living as a jazz singer and musician in those clubs. Their friendship was abruptly interrupted by World War II. Chiosso was deported to Poland, while Buscaglione ended up in a US internment camp in Sardinia. Pino Massara (24 April 1931 - 23 July 2013) was an Italian musician, composer, record producer and conductor. Born in Vigevano as Giuseppe Previde Massara, graduated in chemistry, from the university years he devoted himself to jazz music.
