Igor Șarov
Igor Șarov (born 3 November 1967) is a Moldovan professor, historian, editor and former politician who previously held the office of Minister of Education, Culture and Research in the Chicu Cabinet. The Moldova State University (Romanian: ''Universitatea de Stat din Moldova'') is a university located in Chișinău, Moldova. History The university was founded on 1 October 1946. Initially, it had 320 students enrolled in 5 faculties, Physics and Mathematics, Geology and Pedology, History and Philology, Biology, Chemistry. Within the 12 departments there were 35 teachers. Among the initiators of the founding of the university were Macarie Radu and Mihail Pavlov. In 1969, the State University of Moldova joined the International Association of Universities as a plenipotentiary member. Natalia Gherman
Natalia Gherman (; born 20 March 1969) is a Moldovan politician, who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova from May 2013 to January 2016. She has served as Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Central Asia (UNRCCA) since 2017. Born in Chișinău in 1969, she is the daughter of Mircea Snegur, the first President of Moldova. She studied at the Moldova State University and completed postgraduate studies at King's College London. She joined the Moldovan diplomatic service, working in several different places before eventually becoming Ambassador to Austria and Permanent Representative to the OSCE from 2002 to 2006, and Ambassador to Sweden, Norway and Finland from 2006 to 2009. An academy (Attic Greek: Ἀκαδήμεια; Koine Greek Ἀκαδημία) is an institution of secondary or tertiary higher learning (and generally also research or honorary membership). The name traces back to Plato's school of philosophy, founded approximately 385 BC at Akademia, a sanctuary of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and skill, north of Athens, Greece. Etymology The word comes from the ''Academy'' in ancient Greece, which derives from the Athenian hero, ''Akademos''. Outside the city walls of Athens, the gymnasium was made famous by Plato as a center of learning. The sacred space, dedicated to the goddess of wisdom, Athena, had formerly been an olive grove, hence the expression "the groves of Academe".
