Igor Klyuchnikov
Igor Kluchnikov (russian: Игорь Ключников) (born 7 January 1983) is a Russian rugby union player. He is a tall, strong back who can play as both full back and winger. He plays for VVA-Podmoskovye Monino. He has 69 caps for Russia, since 2003, with 6 tries, 12 conversions and 14 penalties scored, 96 points on aggregate. He was part of the Russian squad for the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. He gained his 50th cap in Russia's World Cup opener against USA on 15 September 2011. He played in two games, without scoring. VVA-Podmoskovye Monino
The VVA-Podmoskovye is a Russian rugby union team playing in the Professional Rugby League. The team plays at Gagarin Air Force Academy stadium in Monino, a garrison town just outside Moscow. VVA-Podmoskovye have strong links to the air force and also supplied the bulk of Russia, with which they shared a head coach, Nikolai Nerush. The team had ambitious plans for the future - it lobbied hard for inclusion in the European Challenge Cup and was close to completing a 12,500-seat purpose-built rugby stadium. Russia National Rugby Union Team
The Russia national rugby union team (Russian: Сборная России по регби), nicknamed Medvedi (''The Bears''), represented Russia in men's international rugby union international competitions. The team is administered by the Rugby Union of Russia (RUR). The RUR is considered the official successor union of the Soviet Union by World Rugby and the combined CIS team which played in the early 1990s. Since 1992, the team has played as Russia. The 2011 Rugby World Cup was the seventh Rugby World Cup, a quadrennial international rugby union competition inaugurated in 1987. The International Rugby Board (IRB) selected New Zealand as the host country in preference to Japan and South Africa at a meeting in Dublin on 17 November 2005.
