Ignacio Jáuregui Díaz (born 31 July 1938) is a Mexican former professional footballer and manager. Life and career Jauregui was born in Mexico. He played for Selección de fútbol de México (Mexico national team) in two FIFA World Cup tournaments( 1962 and 1966). He also played for Club Atlas and C.F. Monterrey Club de Fútbol Monterrey, often known simply as Monterrey or their nickname Rayados, is a Mexican professional football club based in Monterrey, Nuevo León which currently plays in Liga MX, the top tier of Mexican football. Atlas Fútbol Club () is a Mexican professional football club based in Guadalajara, Jalisco that currently plays in Liga MX. It plays home matches at the Estadio Jalisco. Founded in 1916, Atlas has won three league titles and four domestic cups.
