Iftikhar Ahmed (Kalat Cricketer)
Kalat was a first-class cricket team from the Pakistani city of Kalat, Pakistan, Kalat in the north of Baluchistan, Pakistan, Baluchistan province, about 150 kilometres south of Quetta. They had one season of first-class cricket in 1969–70, playing two matches in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. First-class matches The Quaid-e-Azam Trophy was expanded from a 12-team tournament in 1968–69 to a 20-team tournament in 1969–70, and Kalat were one of the new teams. Their two matches took place in the space of 11 days in August 1969. Both were played at the Racecourse Ground in Quetta, and Kalat lost both by an innings. Iftikhar Ahmed (Urdu & ps, افتخار احمد; born 3 September 1990) is a Pakistani international cricketer. He is in playing-eleven in T20 format of Pakistan National Cricket Team. In Pakistan Super League, he has previously played for Karachi Kings, Islamabad United and now is in Quetta Gladiators. He made his international debut for the Pakistan cricket team in November 2015. Iftikhar Hussain Arif ( ur, ; born 21 March 1944), is an Urdu poet, scholar and littérateur from Pakistan. His style is romantic Urdu poetry. He has headed the Pakistan Academy of Letters and the National Language Authority. He has received the Hilal-e-Imtiaz, Sitara-e-Imtiaz and Presidential Pride of Performance awards, which are the highest literary awards given by the Government of Pakistan. Major General Muhammed Iftikhar Khan (10 January 1907 – 13 December 1949) was an officer of the British Indian Army and later Pakistan Army. He was the strongest contender to succeed General Douglas Gracey as the Commander-in-Chief, but unfortunately was killed in a plane crash before he took office. Iftikhar Malik (born 10 November 1949) was a Pakistani cricketer who played for Water and Power Development Authority. He was born in Lahore. Nawab Mohammad Iftikhar Ali Khan Siddiqui Pataudi, sometimes I. A. K. Pataudi (16 March 1910 – 5 January 1952), was an Indian prince and cricket player. He was the captain of the India's national cricket team during its tour of England in 1946. His son Mansoor, known as the Nawab of Pataudi Jr., also later served as captain of the India cricket team. He also played Test cricket for the England team in 1932 and 1934, making him one of the few cricketers to have played Test cricket for two countries and the only Test cricketer to have played for both India and England. Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry ( ur, ; born 12 December 1948) is a Pakistani jurist who served as the 20th Chief Justice of Pakistan over three non-consecutive terms from 29 June 2005 to 11 December 2013.
