''Penthouse Players Clique'' was an American hip hop duo that consisted of rappers Playa Hamm (born Wilbert Bryan Milo) and Tweed Cadillac. They were signed to Eazy-E's Ruthless Records, for which they released their debut and only album to date, ''Paid the Cost'', in 1992. ''Paid the Cost'' featured production by DJ Quik, and guest verses by Quik, Eazy-E and AMG. The group appeared on the soundtracks to films ''Class Act'' and ''Trespass''. ''Street Gospel'' is the debut solo album by the American West Coast hip hop artist Suga Free. It was released on June 24, 1997 via Island Black Music. Production was entirely handled by DJ Quik, who recruited his frequent collaborators Robert "Fonksta" Bacon and G-One. It features guest appearance from DJ Quik, Playa Hamm and Hi-C (rapper), Hi-C. The album was recorded in 28 days. The album was also released in a clean version, which is out of print. David Marvin Blake (born January 18, 1970), better known by his stage names DJ Quik or Da Quiksta, is an American rapper and producer, known for his production in the G-funk style of West Coast hip-hop. Blake has collaborated with Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Tupac, Chingy, R. Kelly and Shaquille O'Neal, among others. Blake's stage name reflects his ability to produce songs in a short period of time. ''Def Jam's How to Be a Player soundtrack'' is the soundtrack to the 1997 comedy film, ''Def Jam's How to Be a Player''. It was released on August 5, 1997, through Def Jam Recordings. The soundtrack, which consisted of a blend of hip hop and contemporary R&B, did well on the ''Billboard'' charts, peaking at 7 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and 2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Six weeks later the album was certified Gold by the RIAA for sales of over 500,000 copies. Foxy Brown and Dru Hill's single "Big Bad Mamma" was the soundtrack's most successful single, peaking at 53 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Absoulute's "Never Wanna Let You Go" also made it the ''Billboard'' charts, reaching the R&B chart. "Young Casanovas" was also a single and had a music video. Eldra Patrick "El" DeBarge (born June 4, 1961) is an American singer, songwriter and musician. He was the focal point and primary lead singer of the family group DeBarge.
