"If It Feels Good Do It" is a song by Canadian rock band Sloan. It was released as the lead single from the band's sixth studio album, ''Pretty Together''. Sloan is a Canadian rock music, rock band based in Toronto and originally from Halifax Regional Municipality, Halifax, Nova Scotia. Sloan have released thirteen full-length albums and have received nine Juno Award nominations, winning one. Between 1996 and 2016, Sloan was among the top 75 best-selling Canadian artists in Canada and among the top 25 best-selling Canadian bands in Canada. Originally debuting in 1990 as the Canadian Music Video Awards, the awards were renamed in 1995 to the MuchMusic Video Awards, reflecting the original (1984–2013) "MuchMusic" name of the Much channel. The Juno Awards of 2002 were presented in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada during the weekend of 13–14 April 2002. Nominations were announced 11 February 2002 at a news conference hosted by Mike Bullard. Awards for the secondary categories were presented in a non-televised gala on 13 April. ''Pretty Together'' is the sixth studio album by the Canadian rock group Sloan. While the album still has the 1960s and 1970s influences of Sloan's previous albums, it is more melancholy with fewer of the upbeat songs found on previous albums.
