Aire Koop (until 1987, Aire Johanson; born 30 May 1957) is an Estonian stage, film, and television actress whose career began in the late 1970s. Early life and education Aire Koop was born Aire Johanson in Jõgeva. After graduating from Jõgeva Secondary School in 1975, she studied drama at the Pärnu Theatre training studio from 1977 until 1979. Koop later returned to school in 2004, graduating from the University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy in 2008 with a degree as a teacher and director of cultural and creative activities. Viire Valdma (born 29 August 1960) is an Estonian stage, television and film actress. Early life and education Viire Valdma was born in the port town of Paldiski in Harju County. She has two sisters and a half-sister from her mother's second marriage after her parents divorced. The family was forced to move when Paldiski became a heavily fortified closed city after a Soviet Navy nuclear submarine training centre was constructed in 1962. Valdma is a 1982 graduate of the Tallinn State Conservatory (now, the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre) in Tallinn, having studied acting under instructor Aarne Üksküla. Helle Kuningas (since 1978 Helle Ralja; 10 June 1949 Pärnu – 10 October 2014 Pärnu) was an Estonian actress. Kuningas was born in Pärnu to a family of journalists. Her uncle was an Estonian literary scholar, literary and theatre critic, cultural historian and translator Oskar Kuningas and her first cousin were chess player Merike Rõtova and writer Astrid Reinla. Urmas Kibuspuu (5 December 1953 in Tallinn – 13 June 1985) was an Estonian actor. In 1976 he graduated from Tallinn State Conservatory Stage Art Department. Since 1976 he worked at Estonian Drama Theatre, intermittently also in Estonia Theatre. Besides theatre roles he appeared in films and on television. Kibuspuu died in 1985, aged thirty-one, of a brain tumor. He was buried at Tallinn's Forest Cemetery. Kalju Komissarov (8 March 1946 Võru – 6 March 2017) was an Estonian actor, theatre and film director, and theatre pedagogue. In 1968 he graduated from Tallinn State Conservatory. 1968-1974 he worked as a film director at Tallinnfilm. 1974-1986 he was the principal stage manager at Noorsooteater, and 1986-1988 at Ugala Theatre. 1986-1995 he was the head of Estonian Music and Theatre Academy's Higher Theatre School ( et, Eesti Muusikaakadeemia Kõrgem Lavakunstikool). Ines Aru (born Ines Parker; 1 July 1939) is an Estonian stage, radio, voice, television, and film actress whose career began in the early 1960s. Early life and education Ines Aru was born Ines Parker in Tallinn to Martin Johannes Parker and Leena Parker (''née'' Laid). Both of her parents were communist activists who had been incarcerated by Estonian authorities in the 1920s for their political activity and released in 1938, the year prior to her birth. Following the German occupation of Estonia during World War II in July 1941, she was evacuated to Samara Oblast in the Ural Mountains of Russia with her mother and grandmother. Her father remained in Tallinn and planned to join them shortly thereafter. In August 1941, he boarded a ship at the Port of Tallinn that struck a mine and was killed.
