Idaho Legislature
The Idaho Legislature consists of the upper Idaho Senate and the lower Idaho House of Representatives. Idaho is divided into 35 legislative districts, which each elect one senator and two representatives. There are no term limits for either chamber. The crossing of upper and lower house districts into a single constituency is found in only seven U.S. state legislatures: Idaho, Arizona, Maryland, New Jersey, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Washington. Sher Sellman is an American politician from Idaho. Sellman is a Republican member of Idaho House of Representatives for District 20, seat B. Personal life Sellman's mother was LaVonne Godschalx (née Nelson)(1917-2010), a teacher and a rancher in Idaho. Sellman's father was William Godschalx (1915-2010), a former Marine and a rancher in Idaho. Sellman has two sisters, Carolyn and Pat. Sellman grew up in Payette County, Idaho. Idaho House Of Representatives
The Idaho House of Representatives is the lower chamber of the Idaho State Legislature. It consists of 70 representatives elected to two-year terms. The state is divided into 35 districts, each of which elects two representatives to separate seats. It meets at the Idaho State Capitol in Boise, Idaho, in the State Capitol Building. Composition of the House The Idaho House of Representatives has been continuously controlled by the Republican Party since the late 1950s, usually by a wide margin. Ada County, Idaho
Ada County is located in the southwestern part of Idaho, United States. As of the 2021 United States census estimate, the county had a population of 511,931, making it by far the state's most populous county; it is home to 26.8% of the state's population. The county seat and largest city is Boise, which is also the state capital. Ada County is included in the Boise metropolitan area. The Ada County Highway District has jurisdiction over all the local county and city streets, except for private roads and state roads. Marv Hagedorn
Marv Hagedorn (born March 2, 1956, in Omak, Washington) has been Idaho's Veterans Division administrator since July 30, 2018. Hagedorn was a Republican Idaho Senator representing District 14 from 2012 to 2018. He previously was an Idaho State Representative (2007–2012) by appointment of Governor Butch Otter in January 2007 representing District 20 in the B seat. Shirley J. McKague (née Woolard, December 4, 1935 – May 21, 2020) was an American politician from Idaho. She was an Idaho State Senator, representing the 20th District as a Republican from 2007 to 2012. Mark A. Snodgrass (born March 16, 1964) is an American politician and educator who served as a Republican member of the Idaho House of Representatives for the 20B district from 2002 to 2008. Jim Jones (September 17, 1922 – October 3, 2012) is a former American politician from Idaho. Jones is a former Republican member of the Idaho House of Representatives. Early life On September 17, 1922, Jones was born in Birmingham, Alabama. His parents were William Henry and Nannie Jones. He had two elder siblings. In 1942, he graduated from Jones Valley High School. Education Jones attended the University of Alabama in 1946 studying prelaw. In 1972, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science from Boise State University. Chuck Winder
Chuck Winder is a Republican member of the Idaho Senate. He serves as the president pro tempore of the Idaho Senate and previously served as the majority leader. He is married to Dianne Winder; the couple has two children. Elmore County is a county in the U.S. state of Idaho. As of the 2020 census, the population was 28,666. The largest city and county seat is Mountain Home.
