Idaho Legislative District 2 is one of 35 districts of the Idaho Legislature. It currently comprises Shoshone County, Idaho, Shoshone, Clearwater County, Idaho, Clearwater, and Benewah County, Idaho, Benewah counties, as well as parts of Kootenai County, Idaho, Kootenai and Bonner County, Idaho, Bonner counites. John Green (Idaho Politician)
John Green is an American politician, attorney, and former deputy sheriff. Green was elected in 2018 as a Republican member of the Idaho House of Representatives from Legislative District 2, Seat B. On January 15, 2020, Green was convicted by a jury in Texas of conspiracy to defraud the United States, a charge that stemmed from helping a wealthy Texas couple hide assets to avoid paying income taxes when Green worked as an attorney there. Because convicted felons are disqualified from serving in the Idaho Legislature, Green was formally expelled from the legislature on January 16, 2020. Eric Redman (Idaho Politician)
Eric Redman (born January 26, 1946) is a former US politician, who was a Republican Idaho State Representative from 2014 to 2018 representing District 2 in the B seat. He chose not to run for reelection in 2018, and was succeeded by John Green. Education and career Redman was raised on a farm near Moscow, Idaho and graduated from Palouse High School in Palouse, Washington in 1964. He attended Washington State University on scholarship for two years before serving in the United States Air Force for four years during the Vietnam War. Redman then made a career owning and operating several business and as an insurance agent, selling his agency to his children in 2012 before he ran for the legislature.
