A–Z Series
The ''A–Z Series'' is a series of singles by alternative rock band Ash. Consisting of 26 singles, each represented by a letter of the alphabet, the singles were first released on a fortnightly basis from 12 October 2009 until 27 September 2010 on 7" vinyl and through digital download. Along with the 26 ''primary singles'' the series also includes 21 B-sides, 13 remixes, 7 acoustic tracks and 2 live tracks which were sporadically released in various formats. The series was later released in various other formats, including two compilation CDs ''Volume 1'' (singles A–M) released on 19 April 2010 and ''Volume 2'' (singles N–Z) released on 11 October 2010, a compilation of all 26 tracks on three vinyl LPs was released on 6 November 2012 through Noyes Records and finally a compact cassette featuring 15 of the band's favourite tracks from the series was released for Cassette Store Day, titled ''Letters from Alphabet City''. Ichiban Records
Ichiban Records is an American independent record label, founded in 1985 by John Abbey and Nina Easton in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. History Wrap Records and Nastymix Records were some of its subsidiary labels. Urgent! Records and Mr. Henry Records of Houston were both distributed by Ichiban. Besides recording a string of hip hop groups in later years, Ichiban originally specialised in blues and has also released albums by musicians such as Buster Benton and Raful Neal. Ichiban filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1999. The catalog is now controlled by EMI, but nothing has been reissued since the label ceased operations. The label's name "ichi-ban", is Japanese for "number one" or "first one", an expression commonly used in Japan to mean, the best. Chūka Ichiban!
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Etsushi Ogawa. It was serialized in Kodansha's ''Weekly Shōnen Magazine'' from October 1995 to May 1999. From 1995 to 1996 it was serialized as ''Chūka Ichiban!'', however, during serialization, the character '真' was added, so from 1997 to 1999, it was serialized as . The story is centered on a boy whose aim is to become the best chef he could be. An anime television series adaptation by Nippon Animation aired on Fuji TV from April 1997 to September 1998. In some other countries, the anime adaptation was also called ''Cooking Master Boy''. In November 2017, Ogawa started a sequel entitled ''Chūka Ichiban!
