Ibrahim Nazarov
Ibrahim Nazarov (; born April 17, 1988) is an Uzbekistani swimmer, who specialized in freestyle events. A member of SZ Navoi swimming club under the tutelage of his coach Daniya Galandinova, Nazarov represented his nation Uzbekistan at the 2008 Summer Olympics, finishing in the top 60 of the men's 200 m freestyle. Nazarov qualified for the men's 200 m freestyle at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, by clearing a B-standard entry time of 1:52.49 from the Russia Open Swimming Championships in Saint Petersburg. Andrei Zaharov (born October 10, 1975) is a Moldovan former swimmer, who specialized in freestyle and individual medley events. Zaharov represented Moldova at four Olympics (1996 in Atlanta, 2000 in Sydney, 2004 in Athens, and 2008 in Beijing). Zaharov also became one of the five swimmers to represent Moldova at his nation's first Olympics in Atlanta, since it gained independence from the former Soviet Union in 1991. Artur Valeryevich Dilman (russian: Артур Валерьевич Дильман; born August 29, 1990) is a Kazakh swimmer, who specialized in freestyle and individual medley events. He represented his nation Kazakhstan at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and has won a career total of six medals (two in each color) in a major international competition, spanning both the indoor and outdoor Asian Games. Dilman also spent his college sports career in the United States as a member of the Drury Panthers swimming and diving team under head coach Brian Reynolds, while pursuing his sports management studies at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. Dilman competed for the Kazakh swimming squad in the men's 200 m freestyle at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Mahrez Mebarek ( ar, محرز مبارك; born February 11, 1985) is an Algerian former swimmer, who specialized in freestyle events. He is a multiple-time Algerian record holder in long-distance freestyle (400, 800, and 1500 m). Mebarek made his official debut at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, where he qualified for two swimming events. In the 400 m freestyle, he challenged seven other swimmers on the third heat, where South Korea's Park Tae-Hwan was disqualified for a false start. Mebarek edged out Slovenia's Bojan Zdešar to take a fourth spot and dip under a 4-minute barrier by 0.90 of a second in 3:59.10.
