Ibon Areso Mendiguren (May 20, 1944) is a Spanish politician and architect. He was the mayor of Bilbao between March 2014 and June 2015. Ibon Begoña Zubiaur (born 17 November 1973) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a left-back. Club career Born in Bilbao, Basque Country, Begoña amassed La Liga totals of 145 games and five goals over the course of six seasons, in representation of Deportivo Alavés. He spent a total of eight years with the club in two separate spells and, in the 2000–01 campaign, contributed ten appearances in the team's runner-up run in the UEFA Cup, scoring in the 3–1 away win against Lillestrøm SK for the second round. Ibon Koteron (born in Bilbao in 1967) is a Basque musician renowned as a player of the alboka. His 1996 debut release was a joint record with Kepa Junkera, entitled '' Leonen Orroak'' (''the roarings of Leon'', a homage to the great ''albokalari'' Leon Bilbao). He was educated in a Jesuit school in Bilbao where he was known for his expertise playing chess and his anarchist tendencies. He graduated in Basque philology in the University of Deusto, but he is now teaching Philosophy in IES Ategorri, Erandio. His career as musician started after he studied alboka and dultzaina in 1987-88 and became a teacher of these instruments himself. Ibon Navarro Pérez de Albéniz (born April 30, 1976, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Álava) is a Spanish basketball coach. He currently works for Unicaja of the Spanish Liga ACB. Ibón is the Aragonese term for small mountain lakes of glacial origin in the Pyrenees, generally above 2,000 m. Many of them are the source of watercourses in Aragon.
