''Iba-Balita'' was the first Filipino-language newscast of Studio 23 in the Philippines (Nicknamed as ''Iba-Balita Primetime'') pitting up against Q's ''News on Q'' and later GMA News TV's '' State of the Nation with Jessica Soho''. It is produced by ABS-CBN Corporation through ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs. The newscast was anchored by Anthony Taberna and Tina Marasigan. The news program was aired from October 4, 2010, to January 16, 2014, replacing '' News Central'' and was replaced by '' News plus''. ''Iba-Balita'', together with '' Bilis Balita'' aired its final broadcast on January 16, 2014, as the upcoming launch new TV channel, S+A. ''Iba-Balita Ngayon'' was the first noontime newscast of Studio 23 in the Philippines pitting up against GMA News TV's '' Balitanghali''. This news program was aired from March 7, 2011, to August 3, 2012. It was produced by ABS-CBN Corporation through ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs and a spin-off to ''Iba-Balita''. The newscast was anchored by Lynda Jumilla and Tony Velasquez. Due to poor ratings and lack of delayed news, the final broadcast aired on August 3, 2012. It airs daily and frequently anchored by TJ Manotoc. It first aired on March 7, 2011. News Plus
''News plus'', stylized as ''News+'', was an evening Filipino newscast on S+A which was aired from January 20 to December 26, 2014, replacing ''Iba-Balita''. It is anchored by Anthony Taberna. Taberna joins with Jef Gaitan as the program's showbiz segment host. The program deviated from traditional news programs as it will provide an in-depth views of daily news and events. By the end of 2014, however, the program was cancelled on December 26 (five days before New Year's Day celebration) as the station makes its transition into a fully fledged sports channel, leaving the hourly update Fast Break as the only remaining source of news for S+A until it was cancelled on January 29, 2017 in favor of additional sports coverages. Anthony Taberna
Antonio Talens Taberna Jr. (born January 16, 1975), popularly known as Anthony "Tunying" Taberna and also known as Ka Tunying, is a Filipino broadcast journalist and radio commentator. At ABS-CBN, Taberna hosted television and radio programs covering news and public affairs. He is a former host of ''Umagang Kay Ganda'' (where he gained popularity in the segment "Punto por Punto") and '' XXX: Exklusibong, Explosibong, Exposé''. As a radio anchor, Taberna is one of the lead anchors for '' Dos por Dos'', a daily late afternoon show, alongside Gerry Baja. He is also the former anchor of ''Iba-Balita ''and'' Mano Mano'' of Studio 23 and later ''News+'' on S+A. ''Bandila'' () was a Philippine television late-night news program broadcast by ABS-CBN with simulcast worldwide via TFC, Originally anchored by Korina Sanchez, Henry Omaga-Diaz and Ces Oreña-Drilon. The program premiered on July 3, 2006, and most recently aired weeknights from 10:50PM to 11:20PM before it was suspended on March 17, 2020 and eventually cancelled after the National Telecommunications Commission ordered the shutdown of ABS-CBN. Julius Babao and Karen Davila served as the final anchors. Babao and Davila later participated on ''TV Patrol'' as interim anchors until the former's departure for TV5 and the latter was named a main anchor of the said newscast. ''News Patrol'' is an hourly news bulletin of Kapamilya Channel which was aired from September 5, 2005, to May 5, 2020, replacing ''ABS-CBN News Advisory'' at the former ABS-CBN. The news bulletin was suspended on May 5, 2020, after ABS-CBN was forced to cease and desist its free TV broadcasting operations given by the order of the NTC. On May 8, 2020, ''News Patrol'' continued broadcast on cable channels TeleRadyo, ANC, Cine Mo!, TFC, online via ABS-CBN News' website, Facebook, YouTube and iWantTFC.
