Ian Shugart
Ian D. Shugart (born May 31, 1957) is a Canadian politician and retired public servant who has been a senator from Ontario since September 27, 2022. Prior to his appointment to the Senate, Shugart held a number of senior roles within the Public Service of Canada, including as the 24th clerk of the Privy Council and secretary to the Cabinet from 2019 to 2021. Education Shugart graduated in from Trinity College at the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts in political economy. Brian Mulroney
Martin Brian Mulroney ( ; born March 20, 1939) is a Canadian lawyer, businessman, and politician who served as the 18th prime minister of Canada from 1984 to 1993.
