The ''Jono & Dano'' Show was a radio and later television show hosted by Jonathan Coleman (Jono) and Ian Rogerson (Dano). Original radio programming The original ''Jono & Dano'' show was broadcast on Triple J as a Saturday night show, before moving to Sunday afternoons and eventually the weekday breakfast shift. They then moved to commercial radio and presented the breakfast show at 2SM before hosting a night-time show on Sydney’s Triple M in 1984. Television programming Jono & Dano then left radio to concentrate on television with a late night show on the Seven Network, followed by morning music show Saturday Morning Live before splitting up, with Jono moving to London to continue in radio and television, and Dano returning to Triple J. Jonathan "Jono" Harry Coleman (29 February 1956 – 9 July 2021), was an English-born television presenter, radio announcer, writer, comedian, and advertorial spokesperson. He was known for his career in his native country and Australia. Early life Coleman was born in Hackney, east London, in 1956. His family moved to Australia, where his career began. He had Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry. Career Television and radio Coleman's broadcasting career started in the late 1970s in Australia, when he was chosen as a member of the reporting team for the popular afternoon children's TV magazine show ''Simon Townsend's Wonder World'', created and hosted by journalist Simon Townsend. Gold 104.3 (call sign: 3KKZ) is a radio station broadcasting in Melbourne, Australia. Gold 104.3 is part of the Pure Gold Network (which itself is a part of the Australian Radio Network) and broadcasts on the 104.3 MHz frequency. History 3KZ 3KZ commenced operations on 8 December 1930. The radio station was initiated by the Industrial Printing and Publicity Group as a means of spreading its message, and in the station's early years, it was broadcast from the Victorian Trades Hall.
