Ian Miller (Australian Footballer)
Ian Miller (born 16 December 1949) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Fitzroy in the VFL and with Perth and East Perth in the WANFL and appeared in 15 interstate matches for Western Australia. Following the footsteps of his father Bob Miller who 172 games for Perth, Miller was a versatile player and was often used across half forward and as a ruck-rover. He started his career at WANFL club Perth and was a member of their 1968 premiership side. In 1972 he spent more of the season at centre half-forward and won a Sandover Medal. He also represented Western Australia that year at the Perth Carnival and earned All-Australian selection. The following season he played the last of his 132 games for Perth and was recruited by Fitzroy. From 1974 to 1977 he was a regular in the Fitzroy side before returning to the West in 1978 to join East Perth. Ian Jonathan Miller (born 23 November 1983) is an English professional footballer who plays for Walsham-le-Willows. As a player he was a defender. After starting his career in non-League football with Bury Town, Miller moved into the Football League with Ipswich Town. He also spent time on loan in the lower divisions of the Football League at Boston United and Darlington, before joining Darlington on a permanent basis in 2008. He left that club in late 2011 and joined Grimsby Town soon afterwards before a two-year stint with Cambridge United. He remained with United as a community football manager whilst playing semi-professionally for Braintree Town, Needham Market, AFC Sudbury and Walsham-le-Willows. Ian Miller (born 13 May 1955) is a Scottish former footballer who played his football in England as a winger. He made 660 league and cup appearances in the English Football League over an eighteen-year professional career, scoring 48 goals. He began his career at Bury, helping the club to win promotion out of the Fourth Division in 1973–74. He was then at Nottingham Forest, but did not feature for the first team before transferring to Doncaster Rovers in 1975. Voted onto the Fourth Division PFA Team of the Year in 1975–76, 1976–77 and 1977–78, he moved on to Swindon Town in 1978. He switched to Blackburn Rovers in 1981, and spent the next eight years with the club, lifting the Full Members Cup in 1987. He then had brief spells with Port Vale and Scunthorpe United, before ending his career with non-league Stafford Rangers. Ian Miller (born September 28, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for BC Enisey of the VTB United League. He played college basketball for Florida State University before playing professionally in Italy, Kazakhstan, Turkey, France, Israel, and Greece. Early life and college career Miller attended United Faith Christian Academy in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he averaged 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists, leading United Faith to the 1-A State Championship as a senior. Ian Andrew Miller (born February 21, 1992) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Minnesota Twins and Chicago Cubs.
