Ian McCulloch (actor)
Ian McCulloch is a Scottish actor of stage, film, and television. McCulloch is perhaps best known for his role as Greg Preston in the post-apocalyptic 1975–1977 TV series '' Survivors'' and for his work in European genre cinema. Career McCulloch debuted in the second episode, "Genesis", of '' Survivors'' and went on to appear regularly throughout the series. He also starred in the Italian horror films '' Zombie Flesh Eaters'' also known as ''Zombi II'' (1979) by Lucio Fulci, '' Zombi Holocaust'' (1980) by Marino Girolami, and ''Contamination'' (1980) by Luigi Cozzi. ''Zombie Flesh Eaters'' was originally banned in the United Kingdom as part of the 1980s campaign against "video nasties". McCulloch stated that he did not see the film in its entirety, or on a big screen, until years later. Ian Stephen McCulloch (born 5 May 1959) is an English singer-songwriter and musician, best known as the lead vocalist of the rock band Echo & the Bunnymen. Career McCulloch was a singer-songwriter with the Crucial Three, one of many local bands that sprang up amongst the regulars who patronised a Liverpool club called Eric's in the late '70s. The other two members were Julian Cope and Pete Wylie who went on to form Wah!. Ian McCulloch (born 28 July 1971) is an English former professional snooker player from Walton-Le-Dale, Preston, Lancashire. He is known for his ability to grind opponents down through protracted safety exchanges and disjointed breakbuilding. He compiled 105 century breaks in his career. Career McCulloch turned professional in 1992, and after steadily climbing up the rankings for many years, he reached the quarter-finals of a ranking event for the first time in the 1999 Welsh Open. He also made his debut in the Crucible stages of the 1999 World Championship. Like Barry Pinches he entered his best form in his early 30s. He reached two ranking event finals – the 2002 British Open (losing to Paul Hunter) and the 2004 Grand Prix in his home town (losing to Ronnie O'Sullivan). John Balfour "Iain" McCulloch (born 28 December 1954) is a Scottish former footballer. Playing as a winger or forward, McCulloch began his career with his hometown club Kilmarnock before joining Notts County in 1978. He won promotion with the Magpies in 1980–81, and was their top scorer in the First Division for two consecutive seasons. After County's relegation in 1984, he joined Kettering Town.
