Ian Cameron (footballer, Born 1966)
Ian Cameron (born 24 August 1966) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is a first team coach at Partick Thistle and manages the Under-19s, having previously coached their Under-17 team. Playing career St Mirren Cameron was born in Glasgow. He joined St Mirren as an S-Form signing. In 1987, at the age of 21, he was part of the team who won the Scottish Cup after beating Dundee United in the Final. He had sat his economics exams at Glasgow University on the morning of the match. Aberdeen Cameron signed for Aberdeen in the summer of 1989 and made his debut against Albion Rovers in a 1989–90 Scottish League Cup tie. Cameron scored the winner against Celtic at Hampden Park in the semi-final of the same tournament, but missed out on playing in the final after suffering concussion in a league game against Hearts, although he did pick up a winner's medal. Ian Cameron (born 23 May 1988) is a Scottish football coach who serves as the head coach of USL League One club South Georgia Tormenta. Playing career He represented the Scottish U16, Scotland U17, and Scotland U18 national teams. He had a spell as a player with Partick Thistle. Cameron played four years of college soccer at Mercer University between 2007 and 2010, making 67 appearances, scoring 17 goals and tallying 16 assists. He also played in the USL PDL with Indiana Invaders in 2010. Following his college career, Cameron returned to Glasgow and earned a master’s degree in Quantitative Finance from the University of Glasgow in 2012. Ian Holland McCall (born 30 September 1964) is a Scottish former football player and coach. During his playing days McCall played for Queen's Park, Dunfermline Athletic, Rangers, Bradford City, Dundee, Falkirk, Hamilton Academical, Happy Valley, Partick Thistle and Clydebank. He then began an extensive managerial career, mostly in the lower leagues of Scotland starting with Clydebank, Greenock Morton, Airdrieonians, Falkirk, Dundee United, Queen of the South, Partick Thistle and Ayr United. Easter Road is a football stadium located in the Leith area of Edinburgh, Scotland, which is the home ground of Scottish Premiership club Hibernian (Hibs). The stadium currently has an all-seated capacity of , which makes it the fifth-largest football stadium in Scotland. Easter Road is also known by Hibs fans as "The Holy Ground" or "The Leith San Siro". The 1995–96 season was the 99th season of competitive football in Scotland. Scottish Premier Division Summary Rangers won the Premier Division with a record 87 points, finishing four ahead of rivals Celtic. Aberdeen were third with 55 points (on goal difference). Falkirk were relegated after finishing bottom. Partick Thistle were relegated via the play-offs, losing 3–2 on aggregate to Dundee United, who returned to the Premier Division at the first attempt. This was the only occasion on which this short-lived play-off system relegated a team from the Premier Division. Albion Rovers Football Club is a semi-professional football team from Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, Scotland. John Lambie (footballer, Born 1941)
John Lambie (19 March 1941 – 10 April 2018) was a Scottish football player and manager. Lambie made over 200 appearances for Falkirk and also had a successful time with St Johnstone. After retiring as a player, Lambie had four spells as manager of Partick Thistle. In his third spell, he guided them to consecutive promotions and entry to the Scottish Premier League in 2002, while also leading them to the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup in the same year. He also had spells as manager of Hamilton Academical (twice, winning the First Division in 1986) and Falkirk. Lambie was known for his eccentricity, cigar smoking and fondness for pigeons.
