Iamsu!
Sudan Ameer Williams (born November 16, 1989), better known by his stage name Iamsu! (stylized as IamSu! or IAMSU!), is an American rapper and record producer from Richmond, California. He is the co-founder and lead member of the hip-hop group the HBK Gang, HBK Gang, which was formed in 2008 and joined by fellow Bay Area artists including Kehlani and Sage the Gemini. He is best known for his guest appearances on Sage the Gemini's 2013 single "Gas Pedal" and LoveRance's 2011 single "Up! (LoveRance song), Up!," both of which peaked within the top 50 of the Billboard Hot 100, ''Billboard'' Hot 100. He signed with Alternative Distribution Alliance to release his debut studio album ''Sincerely Yours (Iamsu! album), Sincerely Yours'' (2014), which moderately entered the Billboard 200, ''Billboard'' 200 and received mixed reviews. Sincerely Yours (Iamsu! Album)
''Sincerely Yours'' is the debut studio album by American rapper Iamsu!. The album was released on May 13, 2014, by HBK Gang and Warner Music Group's Alternative Distribution Alliance. Recording for the album took place during 2013 and 2014. The album's Record production, production was handled by members of The Invasion, Tha Bizness, Jake One, Trackademicks and Chase N. Cashe, among others. Iamsu! collaborated with various artists on the album including 2 Chainz, Wiz Khalifa, Too Short, E-40, Berner (rapper), Berner, Dizzy Wright, along with HBK Gang members Sage the Gemini, P-Lo, Kool John, Skipper and Dave Steezy. The album was supported by the singles, "Only That Real" featuring 2 Chainz and Sage the Gemini and "I Love My Squad". The HBK Gang
The HBK Gang (abbreviation for the Heartbreak Gang) is an American hip-hop collective based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Founded by Iamsu!, Chief, Skipper, and P-Lo in 2008, members also include singer Kehlani and rapper-producers Sage the Gemini, IsThatCJ, Rossi, Dave Steezy, Jay Ant, and Kool John. After contributing to various mixtapes, including Iamsu's '' Kilt II'', in August 2013, the group released their debut mixtape, ''Gang Forever''. HBK Gang Records is an associated independent record label. History Founding HBK Gang is primarily composed of colleagues who met while attending high school in the San Francisco Bay Area, specifically Pinole. Gas Pedal
"Gas Pedal" is a song by American rapper Sage the Gemini, featuring guest vocals from fellow Bay Area rapper Iamsu!. It was released by Republic Records on March 21, 2013 as the second single from the former's debut studio album, '' Remember Me''. It was produced by Sage the Gemini, while both performers co-wrote the song. "Gas Pedal" peaked at number 29 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, making this the first top 40 hit for both artists. It also reached the top ten on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts, at numbers six and four, respectively. Up! (LoveRance Song)
"UP! (Beat The Pussy Up)" is the debut single by American hip hop recording artist LoveRance. The song originally featured guest vocals from rappers Iamsu! and Skipper; however, once being re-issued by Interscope Records, the label's executive Larry Jackson placed 50 Cent on the song's commercial remix to replace both rappers. The song was produced by Iamsu!, who also performs the hook on both versions, the latter of which uncredited. According to Iamsu! himself, the song was originally his, but due to its explicit lyrics and his mother being a teacher, it was instead given to LoveRance as a lead artist. "Function" is the third single from E-40's 16th studio album ''The Block Brochure: Welcome to the Soil 2''. The song features fellow rappers YG (rapper), YG, Iamsu! and Problem (rapper), Problem. The song is produced by Trend of the group League of Star 2012. The song was certified Gold by the RIAA on November 3, 2016. Jonn Hart
Di'Jonn Gary Grizzell (born August 28, 1985), better known by his stage name Jonn Hart, is an American singer from Oakland, California. He is best known for his 2012 single "Who Booty" (featuring Iamsu!), which peaked at number 66 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Upon its re-release by Epic Records in December of that year, the song was remixed with French Montana. Prior, he was a member of the band Tha Outfit. Rance Love Oliver II (arranged as LoveRance; born September 6, 1989) is an American rapper, record producer and DJ from San Francisco, California. He is best known for his 2011 single " Up!" (featuring 50 Cent), which peaked within the top 50 of the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. He joined the hip hop group HBK Gang prior to its release, which was led by the song's producer, Iamsu!.
