Iain Vigurs
Iain Angus Vigurs (born 7 May 1988) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Scottish League One club Cove Rangers. He has previously played for Elgin City, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Ross County and Motherwell. Early life Born in Aberdeen, Vigurs attended Mackie Academy in Stonehaven, where he lived before his footballing career began. Club career Early career Vigurs played for Stonehaven Youth under 9s, scoring over 50 goals in his only season. Vigurs started his playing career in the youth team of Aberdeen and then was signed by Celtic. However, Vigurs left Celtic when he was fourteen. Motherwell FC
Motherwell Football Club is a Scottish professional football club based in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, which plays in the Scottish Premiership. Motherwell have not dropped out of the top-flight of Scottish football since 1985, and have lifted one trophy in that time – the Scottish Cup in 1991. 2010 Scottish Challenge Cup Final
The 2011 Scottish Challenge Cup final was played between Queen of the South and Ross County at McDiarmid Park, Perth. Ross County won 2–0. The game had been postponed from November to April due to inclement weather. Queen of the South beat Peterhead 2–1 in their semi-final and Ross County beat Partick Thistle 4–3 on penalties after their semi-final ended at 2–2. Appearances in previous finals Queen of the South have appeared in the final twice before, winning the 2002 final 2–0 against Brechin City, but losing the 1997 final 1–0 to Falkirk. Scott Boyd
Scott Boyd (born 4 June 1986) is a Scottish former professional footballer. In his career, Boyd played for Livingston, Partick Thistle, Ross County and Kilmarnock. Career His career started with Livingston, from where he joined Partick Thistle on loan in January of the 2005–06 season. He helped the Jags to win promotion from the Second Division and, after the play-offs, Thistle then purchased his contract from Livingston. At the start of the 2007–08 with Partick Thistle promoted, Boyd had first team place limited and determined to fight for his place. In September 2007, Boyd signed on loan for Ross County until January 2008. On 14 January 2008, he signed for Ross County on a permanent basis.
